Snowmass Paso Robles is a proven Futurity and National Champion male that is the son of Snowmass Matrix and out of Snowmass Sizlin Starz XX. Paso took the honors of being awarded Champion at the two most prestigious shows in the country at both the Futurity and Nationals and also at the International Alpaca Odyssey! He is the complete package in terms of looks and fleece and we can't wait to blend the genetics of this male into our Jeremiah and Jumanji lines! We again went to our friends Faye and Jeff Farley to purchase a brown female to help enhance not only quality fiber, but add color to our herd. They suggested Esmae a light brown female with a solid confirmation and fabulous fiber, and she has not disappointed. She had not been raised around Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian dogs and was very leery of them at first. She has realized they are for her protection and now has settled into the routine of the dogs checking the stalls and the pastures for the coyote predators that are very dense around the farm. She will be bred this spring for a spring 2025 cria

Description

Brucie’s dam, Majestic’s Esmae was Barb’s older brother Bruce’s favorite alpaca to show. Bruce died rather suddenly, and when we bred Esmae we thought it appropriate to name her cria after Bruce, who was a heart throb to many females in college and later in life. Even though the cria was female, we named her Brucie the Bod. In her first show in Spring 2024, she was Reserve Grand Champion in walking fleece for all the brown females. She did not disappoint and we were sure Bruce was smiling down on us that day. Brucie has the superior genetics of Snowmass Paso Robles on her sire’s side with Snowmass Matrix genes. Her dam, Majestic’s Esmae has not only Majestic Meadows genetics, but Snowmass, Rock Creek and Crescent Moon’s powerful genetic lines. In her first shows at Springfield Illinois in Spring 2024, she received Reserve Grand Champion Brown female in walking fleece from Judge Frauke Berman. She did not disappoint, and we look forward to future shows and cria.
