We’re thrilled to add this male to our lineup of stud males. Co-owed with Majestic Meadows, standing at FLA; he adds additional grey genetics to our offerings. He had an amazing show career (results of which will be added to this record shortly) and has the honor of championing in both grey and brown (and also showing in fawn). At his 2020 shearing, he confounded those doing micron testing. He had the finest fleece requiring four separate samples to confirm the 13 micron fleece - AT FOUR YEARS OLD!!!! He’s square, balanced, easily handled and great at “his job”. Call us! Alpaca Coat Color Testing: eeaa - what can be known as a "cryptic black" which means when you breed him to a female with EEaa, he will throw black MOST of the time!!

This female has "curb appeal" written all over her. Too Hot To Trot is out of one of the females we were lucky enough to acquire when Aussie Acres retired from the breeding biz. From her adorable brown nose to the incredibly long stapling fiber atop a square strong frame, she demands attention.. and she said "yes" to the attentions of Mission Accomplished for her 2019 production. That pairing popped out a stunning white female who is built like a beautiful truck. We repeated her last breeding to Majestic's XO that gave us "Top Shelf", an absolutely stunning mirror image of Too Hot to Trot. Her 2023 cria is yet another stunner again sired by XO who is was the spitting image of him at birth (thus the name "Imogene" as spitting image didn't seem entirely appropriate!) who was purchased at the 2024 Futurity Auction by Big Hat Ranch. She has proven herself to be a fabulous birther, milker and mother. Yes, we repeated the breeding to XO...if is ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!!

At birth, she was the spitting image of her sire, XO. Rather than support the spitting stereotype/behavior, we named her “Imogene” rather than “Spitting Image” as it seemed more appropriate for a lovely young lady. Imogene is feminine and beautifully fleeced, with oodles of structural integrity, and ohhh….those eyes. Simply irresistible! Her soft, fine fleece is the bolder crimp style indicative of both density and superior staple length - thus producing greater clip weight. Her deep pedigree contains industry leaders well-known among alpaca breeders: Jericho, Quixotic, Casanova and Augusto, to mention a few. Collectively, her genetics include alpacas garnering over 30 blues and banners. Her genotypic and phenotypic traits combine to make her unstoppable. Imagine how you could breed this lovely lady, Imogene, to advance your herd through the next generation and beyond. As you know Imogene exists because of generations of thoughtful breeding, and she is loaded to continue that tradition. Within those breeding choices stand at least two farms that have won the coveted Breeder of the Year awards (multiple times). With those efforts and choices, Imogene will surely be an asset to your breeding program.
