Though Tres did pass in March 2024, we decided to leave this here as a tribute to this wonderful herdsire Tres is the son of the legendary Snowwmass XXXtreme (who only produced 3 greys)and has already gotten to work. We have a number of girls who are bred to Tres.. We are pleased that he will be joining our herdsires and continue our reputation for breeding exquisite grey alpacas. Tres is the sire of our Triple Threat who has take 18 banners as 2/17/2020 of which 2 are Judges Choice for Halter and 1 is Judges Choice for fleece. Imagine what Tres can do to upgrade your herd. . The elite fleece that Tres is producing even at 10 years old is awesome. How impressive is he that he is doing that now and throughout his career! Please ask about his breeding fee and about girls that will come with breedings to this champion maker!! And he is still making champions!! Check out Tres Bien!

Acapella is a lovely light silver grey female out B2 Bomber son, now owned by Delphi Alpacas, Gray Enough. She has fleece that is uniform grey through and through with a delightful handle. She recently gave birth to a light rose grey female out of Tres Equis. Tres is producing multi-champions. We look to the future of Acapella on our farm.

Description

2024- Purple Rain I had a specific criteria, genetics, service sire and coloring when I found P.R. I was really tickled when she arrived last May. Light fawn (almost white-looking) is not usually what I breed for but I knew she was something special. She has a very pleasing conformation, a cute head -that's a must- and her fiber... Very soft handle with zipper crimp. A histogram of 17.5/3.9/0.5 >30!! Her density is heavy and thick. (Not sure the judges would use this terminology to describe fiber but it's fitting for her). In September, Purple Rain delivered a gorgeous little MRG/LSG boy and I had to name him Chances Are. Because instinct told me this cria would very likely be grey. I could not be happier and that's why P.R. is one of my best purchases. Plan to repeat this breeding!
