Kendall Creek Farms is pleased to announce our 50% ownership of Tres Equis! Congratulations to Rosehaven Alpacas for their acquisition as well, we look forward to a lasting partnership on this prepotent male. Treasure Valley’s Tres Equis is the son of Snowmass XXXtreme, and one of only 3 gray males ever produced by this legendary Snowmass line. A 5-time banner winner, Tres is a large framed male with spot on conformation supporting a fleece that is dense, fine, and maintains an incredible handle for a 11-year old breeding male. How very impressive that this male is producing champions and exhibiting relevance to our industry’s gray community at the age of 11!! Tres is certainly passing these prepotent genetics on to his progeny. Examples include, Rosehaven’s Triple Threat, a gray male having won 23 banners and 4 Judges Choice awards; and a Tres girl that won the gray female Color Champion at the 2019 AOA International Fleece show. These are just two examples of the 87% of his offspring that have been shown and placed in the ribbons. And, since we are going for the gray here, then you will be pleased to know that when bred to a gray dam, Tres has thrown gray 78% of the time! Please Contact us about breedings, his offspring that are for sale, and girls that will come with breedings to this champion maker!!

Nite Star Mocha

AOA# 35400479DOB: 6/8/20195 yrs
We have bred Mocha to Treasure Valley's Tres Equis and can't wait to see what we get! It's a girl! Born MAY 2023. She looks to be a rose grey with the cutest ballerina legs. We named the baby, Aurora, and we can't wait to see this one in the show ring in 2024! She has her mother's gorgeous coloring and her father's frame. We just got word from the 2020 AOA National Fleece Show that took place in TN. Mocha won 1st place in the Rose Grey Female Juvenile along with an Advanced Certificate (gold sticker) as she scored over 80 points from the AOA National Show. She then went on to win the Reserve Color Champion in Grey Female. She was #2 out of 35 alpacas in a highly competitive national show. Mocha is the daughter of our Cocoa. She looks very much like her sire, Alpaca Palace’s Skyline’s Bold Accent, who has passed on his color, staple length, density and well-defined crimp to her. Mocha is a gorgeous Medium Rose Grey. She is friendly and self- confident yet easy to handle. Her grand sire on her mother’s side is “LaFinca’s Xander Gris”, a MAPACA Champion. In 2020 her fleece blanket went to both the AOA International Fleece Show and the PAOBA Fleece Show since Halter shows were canceled that Spring.

Description

Aurora is such a fun little girl. When she was born we called her little legs "ballerina legs" as she dances around all the other alpacas. We can't wait until she goes to the show ring this year for 2024.
