Judges Choice and 2X Champion!

BIG TIMBER'S QUEBRACHO

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35113270DOB: 8/1/20159 yrs
We are excited to announce that Big Timber Quebracho is back on the farm. We had the opportunity to purchase this male back and we didn't hesitate! Judge Choice and 2X Champion --Quebracho comes from the highest quality champion genetics. His multi-champion stud female line includes the best: Arizona Sage, Accoyo Starcrossed, Eleuteria and Accoyo Harmony. His sire, SBS Stardust, is a multi-champion, with all-star genetics behind him as well. Lingering fineness is a hallmark of his genetic pool coming from his dam side. Look at the color genetics behind this male. He throws great color in his crias when bred to color, along with his lingering fineness, luster and density. When bred to white, he has also produced beautiful white crias who excelled in the show ring. Quebracho has produced multiple champion offspring. Quebracho is a strong, well balanced true to type male. His fleece shimmers with luster on the inside and outside and his highly aligned, dense, fine locks are absolutely stunning. No wonder when you see his biopsy and histogram results. His biopsy results are the tops: 68.75 follicles SQ/MM, 14.5 to 1 for S/P Ratio, 10.8 micron variation between secondaries and primaries, a very low 20% secondary fiber medullation & 4 out of 4 gland presence. His 2017 biopsy AFD equates to 20.04 micron. His glandular infrastructure accounts for his high level of luster and his low medullation is associated with excellent handle. This is a highly heritable trait. In 2017, Quebracho was evaluated by Cheryl Gehly of the Suri Network Suri Herd Improvement Program (SHIP) and received top scores (1-5 with 5 being the highest score possible). He scored 5s on all conformation traits and 4's and 5's on his fleece traits. Quebracho's quantitative data supports his position as a top ranking herdsire in the country. Let the data and his champion offspring speak for the high quality of this fabulous herdsire.

Dam: SDAF WAPU's Martha

Futurity Blue!

SDAF WAPU's Martha

SuriBred (Female)White
AOA# 35024583DOB: 10/7/20159 yrs
This female has it all! And she is currently bred to Big Timber's Josef's Simeon and confirmed by U/S!!! No introduction needed! She took a 1st at CABA 2016 in her first show, in an extremely competitive class of WHITE juveniles where she was the YOUNGEST in the class. The judge's comments ranged from "extreme luster" to "typey head", "well grown out" and "great lock structure"; to a "very well nourished fleece". She then went on to take a 1st and CC at the Gold Country Gathering, rounded out by a final 1st at the ABI in Redmond. After four regional shows in the fall of 2016 and the spring of 2017, she took a 1st and RCC at Halter, AND a 1st and RCC at Walking Fleece under two different judges at National! Then she went on to take the blue at 2017 Futurity! Most recently, she took 2nd at AOA 2022 Nationals and a 1st at CABA in Produce of Dam with her two progeny to date in a very strong class. So six shows, seven blue and several banners! Her sire, WAPU, is a full Kahuna son out of the Pucara breeding program needs no introduction; and her dam, is a wonderful foundation daughter from two color champions, an Apache daughter out of the prestigious Accoyo America program and a Rico son out of the Latah Creek program ; the luster is blinding! We chose WAP Commandor owned by Randy and Barb Coleman for her first date. Commandor has now sired 10+ judges choice winners, and did not disappoint! Martha's 1st cria named Michael arrived May 29, 2019! And he is just as stunning as she is. Sired by WAP Commandor, the luster is blinding! He took 2nd in the competitive AOA 2020 National show, and then unfortunately the rest of the shows for the year were cancelled; but he has gone on to a strong showing in 2021 and 2022; check it out including 3 color championship banners! Martha was bred to Big Timber's Quebracho for her summer 2020 cria, Oh My, what a pairing that was! A magnificent fawn female we have named Miriam arrived September 29, 2020. This is what we have waited for, pairing our Kahuna grand daughter to Quebracho! And Miriam has also had a strong show career in 2021-2022, ending with several blue and two banners. On June 11, 2022, Martha delivered another stunning fawn female sired by Big Timber's Quebracho; we have named her Mary Magdalena; we got her to only one show in 2023 where she ribboned. Her 2023 cria was a superb female we have named SDAF Quebracho's Maria Melissa; Sire of course needs no introduction. We gave her a year off and will breed her in 2025 to Big Timber's Josef's Simeon Her most recent histogram shows a 23.7 micron, not bad for a 7-year old female who continues to produce champions putting her in the top 1% and 5% of EPDs. She took a top 5% in two other categories and top 15% in three other categories. Do not miss this young lady! What can she do for your breeding program?

Service Sire: ANDACAL'S GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY

MULTI-COLORED PAGE MASTER SON!

ANDACAL'S GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY

SuriMaleWhite, Light Fawn
AOA# 36046485DOB: 7/19/20213 yrs
ANDACAL's Guardian Of The Galaxy was sired by our 8 time champion white herdsire BRKRD Page Master. Page Master has great Suri conformation including an exemplary Suri head style and great fleece coverage from ears to toes. His fleece has wonderful lock structure throughout, the locks are solid, the fleece is dense, the fleece has a great handle, and great luster. He doesn't have the usual genetics found in a lot of the great white Suri herdsires, but they are great genetics nonetheless. He has great herdsires in Ramilo, Montoyo, Uribe, Viceroy, and Armani in his pedigree. He has great fleece data in his biopsy, his histograms and his EPDs. Check them out by clicking on his link and going to his page. Galaxy's dam, Black Beau's Ariana, also brings superb luster, a great phenotype, and outstanding fleece characteristics to the pairing with Page Master. Ariana has great EPDs from top to bottom, but especially for fineness and uniformity. She has a Top 1% EPD ranking for AFD, SF and MSL for her 2020 EPDs. In addition to those, she is top 15% in for %M, top 10% for FW and top 5% for both SDAFD and %>30. In fact, she's close to top 1% for the last one, %>30. Ariana comes by that fineness through her dam Lianka as she is from a fine micron lineage of alpacas that start with the herdsires Sedoso and Huacho. Lianka herself has Top 2% EPD rankings for AFD, SF, and %>30. From her full name one can tell that Ariana is sired by Black Beau of PVA who is from the Mahogany Prince to Kobe to Diamonte lineage. Black Beau is also known for producing fineness and that is understandable considering Ariana's rankings are better than her dam. Overall, this means that Galaxy inherited great fleece characteristics from both the top and the bottom of his pedigree. Galaxy has it all. He has an outstanding Suri phenotype with a great head style and magnificent fleece coverage from fuzzy ears to toes. His fleece is fine, lustrous, dense, and very uniform, especially for a multicolored alpaca. He has all the makings of an outstanding future herdsire for someone that loves a multi and wants to produce an extremely uniform micron in that fiber. Let us know if you are interested in adding him to your herd. We plan on having him in the show ring for you to see in person the spring of 2022.
