Multiple Champion Grey fleece machine!

Creedence

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 35145141DOB: 10/13/20186 yrs
June 2023 - Another 7.4# blanket and 3.1# neck sheared - this male consistently is staying in the 10# range of quality, usable fiber even at his age! And bonus - a stunning rose grey offspring of his just hit the ground! May 2022 - Creedence continues to be a fiber machine. 7.5# blanket and 2.8# neck (almost as nice as the blanket!) - probably another 2# in legs shorn but didn't bother weighing that. What a fiber beast! His (all grey so far!) offspring are also doing well against tough competition! Aug 2021 - Creedence's first offspring has hit the ground! A classic dark silver grey son out of a black dam - SCORE!!! May 2021 - Whew - so glad to get that fiber off! Creedence sheared a stunning 7# blanket and 2.7# neck. We can't wait to see how this will be passed on to future generations! January 2021 - We have obtained full ownership of this stunning male. We can't wait to see his offspring hit the ground later this year! _____________________ July 2020 - Creedence has started his breeding career with enthusiasm. We are absolutely thrilled in the manner that Creedence has matured in the past few months. This male was born to be a herdsire. We have multiple confirmed pregnancies (via ultrasound) from this male and we are excited to see the offspring in 2021! He is the real deal. _____________________ Every once in a while a youngster comes along that has it all - curb appeal, style, personality - and has the "goods" to back it up - correct conformation, stunning fleece, and an adorable true-to-type head. Introducing... Creedence. Just one name. Just one look. All his own. This multiple color champion holds his own against tough competition regardless of usually being the youngest in his class - because he has all the traits of a champion - correct conformation and fiber that is fine, dense, remarkably consistent from skin to tip across the blanket and is the same clear through to the belly and shoulder/bib area. We are not seeing any large primaries as his secondaries come in - quite remarkable for a grey. Look closely at his pedigree - Creedence hails from ancestry that grey breeders know well. Top and bottom, the parents are champion and champion producers. Superb sire, A Paca Fun's Sonic Shift, has credentials all his own and power dam, TAR Cupid's Daphne is a secret weapon that has produced champions at every level. Look for Creedence at shows and on Instagram. #CreedenceTheAlpaca.

Grey and black genetics galore!

LF Del A Monday's Child

HuacayaOpen (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 35536208DOB: 8/31/20204 yrs
**Update July 2024: It's a stunning dark fawn/light brown (not sure of color yet) for Monday and Resolute! At over 19#, this is a hearty little girl and looks stamped in the image of her champion sire. Yay! When Monday arrived on our farm as a young yearling, we could tell that she would fit right in – strong boned, correct in frame, true-to-type Huacaya head style, rich consistent color in her fiber (which was also soft, fine, uniform, AND had architecture – outstanding for a black!). Yep – she had the makings of a true foundation female! Don’t be shy – look at her ARI and see the notable dams and sires stacked up within her ancestry. This girl is loaded with color and top seed stock genetics! Her first offspring (appropriately named Tequila Tuesday!) is on the ground and he will be transitioned to our jr herdsire row unless he sells as soon as he is old enough. Monday is bred to LibertyAlpacas Manifest Resolute for a 2024 offspring. Lining up these championship genetics for next generation will be incredible regardless of male or female offspring!

Description

*March 2024 Update - Taco placed 2nd at the Buckeye show behind his paternal sibling (Southside Jake) in the Bred & Owned class - both males rose to the top of the very competitive class and the judges loved his frame, fleece, coverage, curb appeal and definitely agreed that this is a male to watch in the future. Congrats to the new owners of this young male. We will watch as this male continues to develop - he will be stunning as he matures! Taco (as this young male is known around the farm) is an amazing young male. With grey parents, we were a little surprised to see him pop out as a fawn, but certainly not disappointed! The frame and bone on this male is amazing...as it needs to be since he carries a stunning amount of fine, yet dense fiber on his frame at such a young age.Testing out at a 15.2 micron, with consistent and uniform architecture, we can't wait to see how he develops and matures - he will be an asset to any breeding program regardless of color.
