Painted Black is a wonderful compliment to our lovely herd with his outstanding luster, correct conformation with great bone, density, beautiful lock structure, head to toe coverage, gentle disposition and was luster mentioned? Yes, he is extremely lustrous! With the likes of Accoyos Bruxo and Ganador in his lineage which produced Captain Blackfoot, it is no wonder this male has the luster he presents. What is curious is where his true black coloration came from that he is also able to throw. His Paint Me Black daughter has the same color and luster and is stunning. Do not let the fact that he hasn't shown sway you. His kids are awesome and he passes on his sweet temperament! Paint is spectacular!

We are very pleased to have added this Champion female to our foundation herd. Her genetic makeup is from the top lines in the nation with her Peruvian Macgyver and 6Peruvian Rufino grandsires in the mix and both her sire and dam are Champions. Pearls was bred to Painted Black for her 2018 Blue black female Cria that is exactly what we were hoping for and 2020 was another female. We repeated that breeding for her true black 2021 female offspring. Pearls was bred to WLK Jamayo for another black cria in 2022 that is stunning. Jamayo has sired five true black Cria as his first offspring begin arriving. They are amazing and this latest criai s no exception!

We really liked Bijou the moment he was born. A beautiful true black with intense high luster fleece and perfect conformation! Knowing there are a lot of exceptional black suris in the industry, we hesitantly took him to the 2018 CABA Classic where he won the RC in full fleece halter. When we sheared his fleece at the show, I was so impressed we sent it off to the 2018 National Fleece show where he won a black fleece Championship! He is producing extreme luster in his cria that are exceptional. Black Bella Noir, daughter of Paint Me Black won first place in her class and Rubicon, son of Ruby Rum won two banners at the CABA/AWE Shows April, 2022
