She is showy yet very sweet and that fleece..it's lovely: soft, even and dreamy (although she's begun to sacrifice staple length to her crias). We’re thrilled to add this male to our lineup of stud males. Co-owed with Majestic Meadows, standing at FLA; he adds additional grey genetics to our offerings. He had an amazing show career (results of which will be added to this record shortly) and has the honor of championing in both grey and brown (and also showing in fawn). At his 2020 shearing, he confounded those doing micron testing. He had the finest fleece requiring four separate samples to confirm the 13 micron fleece - AT FOUR YEARS OLD!!!! He’s square, balanced, easily handled and great at “his job”. Call us! Alpaca Coat Color Testing: eeaa - what can be known as a "cryptic black" which means when you breed him to a female with EEaa, he will throw black MOST of the time!!

Description

Rosanna is a lovely female that would have done well in the show ring save the fact that Covid hit and her career became a non-starter. Instead, she became a wonderful foundation female. We have repeated the Rhianna (dam) x Enlightening (sire) breeding a number of times to great success, pulling both rose and silver grey from that pairing. Rosanna is a solid boned female with correct jaw alignment and lovely staple length. She also has very nice capacity for carrying cria. She gave birth to a female cria from Quixotic in the Spring of '23 who is a "mini me" of her dam. We switched up service sires this year opting for XO for her 2024 production.
