Goldstar's Zoltar is the son of Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has won 20 Get of Sires with 3 of them at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Goldstar has been taking his great Full Accoyo genetics and passing them on to his offspring to create champions since at least 2012 when he won the first of his 19 Get of Sire championships. Goldstar’s sire is the great Rockstar making him grandson of the outstanding Accoyo herdsire Torbio. That lineage of males is known for consistently producing progeny with beautiful conformation and with fleeces that are fine, dense, nicely locked, and lustrous. That line is definitely prepotent. That prepotency is exhibited in Zoltar. Zoltar has those attributes and to insure that he will be a densely fleeced alpaca, he was born with great folds of skin on him. Yes, he had wrinkled skin! Zoltar's dam Zarina has great genetics in her pedigree, too. It's a wonderful mix that includes some great Accoyo herdsires in Inca, Bruxo, MacGyver, Uribe, and Accoyo Gold. Her first son by USA Peruvian Jaguar was excellent. He was just unlucky to be born the same month as our Black Beau's Comet. Comet was spectacular. Her 3rd male cria was 1st in a competitive juvie class of 6 at the 2019 Nationals at age 7 months. He was sired by Micah. She also has a nice male by Page Master in 2019. Zarina is an excellent producer as she has had 4 really nice crias sired by 4 different males. A sample from Zoltar's 2019 shearing has been submitted for EPDs and look at that histogram! Wow! His density is 71.8 follicles/sq mm, SAFD 18.7 microns, PAFD 22.2 microns, and that's an S to P spread of only 3.5 microns. Zoltar has had solid results in the show ring. He had a fiber break as a juvie and halter shows were only as a shorn yearling. He had nothing but blue ribbons in his previously shorn halter classes. He's been considered for Color Championships, but never won a banner. Fleece shows have been different. He's back to back Light Male Color Champion in 2019 & 2020 at The Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. He was not only champion at the 2020 AOA National Fleece Show, he also won Judge's Choice. The outstanding results at fleece shows continued with being awarded Suri Network 2022 Spirit of the Industry! Shows are nice, but we are more concerned about the crias he'll sire after all the shows are done. A number of Goldstar sons are now the ones winning the Get of Sires at the shows like AOA Nationals and The Futurity. If Zoltar is like his dad Goldstar, who didn't have but 1 RC banner in his show career, and then later went on to win 20 Get of Sires because of his outstanding offspring, then we'll be happy. Mon Chérie, who we call Cher, was sired by the outstanding Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar son named HPR Alaskan Gold. Alaskan Gold won 11 blue ribbons, 5 championships, and was twice a Judge's Choice including one at The Futurity. He has an extremely dense, lustrous fleece. That fleece has a beautiful and consistent lock structure across the blanket and up the neck. His sire Goldstar has 20 Get Of Sire wins including 3 at National, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Alaskan Gold's dam is a well bred female named BBFAI Whirlwynd. Her pedigree includes the great herdsires Uribe, MacGyver, Sirius Black, Wirrpunda, and Eminance Grise. Alaskan Gold's breeding career is young at this time and his offspring are just ready to start hitting the show ring. All indications so far are that he is siring excellent offspring of all colors from white to black that have excellent luster like Cher, a wonderful lock structure like Cher, and a beautiful Suri phenotype stamped on all of them. We shouldn't give all the credit to the top of her pedigree for that luster because her dam Chocolat Par Beau has great luster herself and great genetics, too. Chocolat has the great PVA genetics of her sire Black Beau on top and is out of an outstanding Kahuna daughter Pucara Mischa's Belle on the bottom. The fineness of Cher's fleece comes from her dam Chocolat. Chocolat's EPDs are outstanding for fineness and uniformity. The fact is Cher's dam Chocolat's EPDs are very good for every category. This is Chocolat's second cria and we feel the that both of them are proof that we are right in saying Chocolat is a stud production female. Cher is a beautiful girl with a fine, lustrous, and dense fleece. That fleece has a consistent lock structure across the blanket. She has championship genetics throughout her pedigree and it's no surprise that she has a beautiful Suri phenotype including an exemplary head style.
