Klondike Gold was sired by the outstanding Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar son named HPR Alaskan Gold. Alaskan Gold won 11 blue ribbons, 5 championships, and was twice a Judge's Choice including one at The Futurity. He has an extremely dense, lustrous fleece. That fleece has a beautiful and consistent lock structure across the blanket and up the neck. His sire Goldstar has 20 Get Of Sire wins including 3 at National, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Alaskan Gold's dam is a well bred female named BBFAI Whirlwynd. Her pedigree includes the great herdsires Uribe, MacGyver, Sirius Black, Wirrpunda, and Eminance Grise. Alaskan Gold's breeding career is young at this time and his offspring are just ready to start hitting the show ring. All indications so far are that he is siring excellent offspring of all colors from white to black that have excellent luster like Klondike, a wonderful lock structure like Klondike, and a beautiful Suri phenotype stamped on all of them. Klondike's dam, Black Beau's Ariana, also brings superb luster, a great phenotype, and outstanding fleece characteristics to the pairing with Alaskan Gold. Ariana has great EPDs from top to bottom, but especially for fineness and uniformity. She has a Top 1% EPD ranking for AFD, SF and MSL for her 2019 EPDs. In addition to those, she is top 15% in for %M, top 10% for FW and top 5% for both SDAFD and %>30. In fact, she's close to top 1% for the last one, %>30. Ariana comes by that fineness through her dam Lianka as she is from a fine micron lineage of alpacas that start with the herdsires Sedoso and Huacho. Lianka herself has Top 2% EPD rankings for AFD, SF, and %>30. From her full name one can tell that Ariana is sired by Black Beau of PVA who is from the Mahogany Prince to Kobe to Diamonte lineage. Black Beau is also known for producing fineness and that is understandable considering Ariana's rankings are better than her dam. Overall, this means that Klondike inherited great fleece characteristics from both the top and the bottom of his pedigree. All of the items stated above means that ANDACAL's Klondike Gold is one extremely well bred Suri male. His fleece has luster, fineness, a well defined lock style across his body, and good density. He has had a skin biopsy and the results are listed in his fiber data on this page. His biopsy shows his fleece is dense, fine, and uniform. He stands like a champion and has great conformation. The fleece coverage in his phenotype is exceptional. That includes his head's fleece coverage. His wedge shaped head exhibits an exemplary Suri head style. Klondike's the whole package and that includes a good disposition. Klondike's first crias are on the ground and they are beautiful!

Rose's grey sire MMALP Citation has some very unique genetics and only sired two crias before he was tragically lost in the fall of 2019. We have both of them born to our herd in 2020, one male and this female Rose. Citation's sire was Libertad's Notorious, a rose grey male that was sired by Accoyo America Libertad. Libertad only sired 5 offspring before being lost in a barn fire. He was sired by NGG Accoyo Apache II. So, that means Citation's sire Notorious was a half Accoyo grey male and there just aren't many greys with that much Accoyo genetics in them. Citation's dam WLK Adriana has great grey genetics and was a banner winner. More importantly, Adriana has been a great production female and has produced a multiple number of banner winners herself. Her sire was the great grey herdsire Silver Heat and her dam was an outstanding grey female Silver Marquis' Platinum Plus. Platinum Plus is the dam of our black male herdsire BB and was sired by another great grey herdsire named Silver Marquis of Round Hill. So, we have great Accoyo genetics combined with great grey genetics on the top half of Rose's pedigree. Rose's dam Liberty Girl has great genetics in her pedigree, too. The unique thing is that they are a lot of the same genetics as the sire Citation, only in the opposite parents. Liberty Girl has great Peruvian silver grey genetics as her sire is WLK Silver Stone out of Peruvian Silver Heat. Liberty Girl's dam is an Accoyo America Libertad daughter. Libertad is a unique part of Liberty Girl's genetics and now a doubly (dam and sire) unique part Rose's genetics that you won't find in many other herds. Liberty Girl's pedigree goes three generations back and includes some great herdsires that are the foundation of the North American Suri alpaca herd: Ramilo, Pilgrim, Silver Bullet, Apache, and MacGyver. The bottom line is Rose is somewhat line bred for a lot of the same great grey and Accoyo genetics. She's a genetic powerhouse in those regards. It's no wonder then that Rose is such an outstanding grey alpaca. Her phenotype has it all including great fleece coverage on her legs and an exemplary Suri head style. She is loaded with fleece and she has outstanding density. That dense fleece is lustrous and it's fine. She is so nice and we feel she's a female that could improve the grey line in our herd. So, we are keeping her as a foundation female for production. Rose had a classic silver grey female cria on 9/14/23. The girl was sired by Klondike and she has his beautiful Suri phenotype. The fleece coverage is exceptional. The fleece has an amazing staple length and exhibits very nice luster. It has a soft and cool handle. This girl has amazing potential and has been sold. Rose has been bred to Arappaho's BB of Harmony for a cria due in 2025.
