Tiger Lily Conopa’s Smoak will bring another great layer of quality in our herd with his incredible fleece and genetics! Smoak did extremely well in the showings, winning 9 Championship and 1x Supreme Champion title. Several times, he showed with his wins that his quality surpasses the lighter alpacas’ (with the Supreme and Age Championship), that means a lot for a brown! His fiber’s stats showed that he has a very fine fleece with an AFD of 14.7 microns at his 1st histogram and 16.3 microns at his 2nd. Barely no guard hair on his chest, and none on his blanket. His fleece has a very high frequency crimp, merino like, with extreme density. Fleece pictures don't do him justice! He is an outstanding male, with a conformation that stands out of the group, beautiful fleece coverage from head to toes and proportions. He is bringing along his elite North American genetics that will complement our herd greatly. His sire is the legendary Snowmass Conopa XXX. His dam is equally great: Tiger Lily Samatha Ice is a 2x Supreme Champion female that produces Supreme Champions! Smoak is just one of them. Her progeny is also producing multi-Champions, one of them being 9x Supreme Champion Tiger Lily Shaka’s Pillar. She’s out of an Eclipse Alyst daughter and Bolivian Ice Man, a male that made a spectacular impact on the Western Canada industry! We were left with only 1 cria sired by Smoak from 2021, and all we can say is WOW! That single cria is outstanding and rocking in the shows, winning the 1st place ribbons and 2 Reserve Championship. A-H scored 84/100 in fleece show: 24.5 for fineness and handle, 9 for uniformity of micron, 8.5 for brightness, 8.5 for character and 9 for absence of guard hair. If you’re looking to improve all these traits named above, you must consider Smoak for breedings! Bonus: he’s a female producer! Colour genotype: EE Aa2 - Smoak will never produce whites/lights.

COMTESSE ABELLE DU DNA

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 35448846, CLAA# CAN47985DOB: 7/31/20177 yrs
Abelle is a beautiful white female, full sister to our best white and 1st place winner, Comtesse Adoby du DNA. Adoby and Abelle are the only two Mortimer's daughter you can find in the market, and boy did we regret not using this male more than that! Mortimer's offsprings both have very dense fleece with a great architecture and high amplitude crimp. They have average fineness (AFD of 17-18 microns) and great length. Abelle's dam is ACA Crispina, one of our first foundations dams. Her descendants are high quality huacaya placing extremely well in the showing and fleece shows. Her first cria is a white female sired by Sir Arrow du DNA, Arrow's first cria. Her conformation is perfect and she looks like a bear! She has a masculine frame with a large nose, short muzzle and lots of fleece coverage. We've bred Abelle to our new herdsire, 9x champion Tiger Lily Conopa's Smoak. This should be Smoak's very first cria and we would like to see if he can produce high-quality white as Abelle is by genotype and phenotype our whitest females.

Description

Ingenou is a beloved alpaca on our farm and social media. With her striking appearance, large size, and lively personality, she captures attention right away. Standing upright and with correct conformation, she exudes strength and elegance. She boasts impressive substance of bone and good height and lines. Her medium brown fleece is accented by dark markings around her eyes that create a stunning eyeliner effect. The bold crimp in her fleece and its consistency are equally impressive, as the fiber is very fine. Ingenou's genetics are equally remarkable. As she ages, she is becoming more of a Rose Grey. In 2023, a judge from Alpaga Quebec offered high praise for her, describing her fleece as "very fine, very very bright, well-nourished, with a lot of shine when opened." The judge also noted that she is a "very well-conformed girl." We plan to breed Ingenou with a suitable stud in 2024 for her first cria. Keep an eye out in 2025 to see what she produces!
