From his beautiful dark caramel colored fleece that lightens on his belly and down his legs to his lustrous independent locks with coverage to his toes. This little girl owns our hearts! At two days old she was rushed to WSU - Pullman with sepsis where she stayed with her dam, Pandora, for eight days. The amazing staff there pulled her through against great odds and she came home to be bottle-fed and supplemented for the next several months as she grew into this beautiful copper-colored beauty. While her illness robbed her of a beautiful fleece her first ten months of life she had her first shear last month and we see her amazing shine and copper luster coming through in new growth. Penny is the product of an amazing show male who scored a perfect 5 out of 5 in conformation and 4.5 out of 5 for LUSTER... FINENESS...LOCK Structure ... DENSITY ... and UNIFORMITY of MICRON for a smooth slick handle. He has amazing density which he has passed down to Penny as evidenced in her rolling skin and dense fleece. Her dam is an award-winning female and an amazing mother with lots of milk, an easy birther and breeder with the exquisite fleece qualities normally expected only in light colored suris. Pandora is a beautiful suri with dense, uniform, fine fleece with a 17.9 micron fleece as a yearling. She is the first offspring sired by LCA VIHO. At 14 years old she is holding onto her amazing quality of fleece placing in the Top 1% EPD's and was selected to be featured at the 2017 AOA National show as one of the top 5 EPD Trait Leaders. Penny is a tough and independent girl who owns the farm here. We expect great things from her to come as she passes down her amazing genetics from Lover Boy and Pandora's VIHO genetics.
