We have high hopes for Prince Aragorn and all signs are that we were right to have them. For starters he won the Black Male Championship at the 2021 AOA National Halter Show. His sire Crown Prince is a 2 time Nationals banner winner with 15 Get of Sire championships to his name. Unfortunately, Crown Prince passed away in early 2019 and Aragorn is the last cria born that was sired by him. White Crown Prince has sired black on a few occasions and on one occasion another black son was a Nationals color champion. That half brother to Aragorn was named Fresh Prince. So after the 2021 AOA National Show, Crown Prince has sired two black National Champions! Crown Prince's sire was an outstanding male named Crown Royale and not only did he sire a prepotent male in Crown Prince, but also in a number of other outstanding sons. If you look at all the champion offspring Crown Royale and his sons have produced, then you definitely can tell they are PREPOTENT genetics. We believe Aragorn has a great chance to have that quality, too! That's especially true when one also considers the bottom of Aragorn's pedigree. His dam Ambiance is a daughter of Goldstar and he has 19 Get of Sire championships to his name. Those Get of Sire championships include three wins at Nationals, twice at The Futurity, and once at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Not only do you have the prepotent genetics found in Ambiance's sire, but you also have her mother who was the daughter of MacGyver. Yes, Ambiance is a Goldstar daughter and a MacGyver granddaughter. And all MacGyver did was win Herdsire Of The Year an astounding 7 times at The Futurity. Wow! That's quite a list of herdsires with outstanding accolades for the offspring they have sired found in Aragorn's pedigree: Crown Prince, Crown Royale, Goldstar, and MacGyver. It's no wonder he has a great Suri phenotype. He has a level back, good bone, great coverage, and that coverage includes a wonderful Suri head style. His fleece is lustrous with a wet, oily look to it. The fleece is fine, dense, and well organized. Time will tell if we are right because we feel this male has all the makings of an outstanding herdsire and we are going to try to have some of his crias on the ground in 2022! Jakira was sired by our 7 time banner winner Black Beau's Comet. Comet is a son of true black National and Futurity champion Black Beau, grandson of Diamonte, and great-grandson of Kobe. Yes, Comet is from that great PVA lineage. On the bottom of Comet's pedigree is a daughter of Saladin. Bay black Saladin sired some outstanding offspring including the true black champion Psylent Knight. Comet's dam's dam comes from a line that has great fleece stats in regards to fineness. Being sired by Comet means Jakira definitely has great genetics on the top of her pedigree. Jakira's dam's genetics are very good, too. Her dam's name is USA Peruvian Jakarta. Jakarta was sired by true black Jax Johnny Cash who comes from a Uribe lineage was a one time banner winner. Jakarta's dam is where some exceptional Suri accolades can be found and her name is MacGyver's Peruvian Jewell. It's obvious Jewell is a daughter of the 7 time Futurity Herdsire of the Year winner DDF Peruvian MacGyver. Jewell's dam is LCA Ankita, a Chief Qualchan LCA daughter. Jewell was a 5 time banner winner and more importantly she was an outstanding production female. Including Jakarta, she sired a number of banner winners. One of them, USA Peruvian Jaguar, has been an outstanding sire in addition to being a banner winner. Another one, USA Peruvian Jeremiah, was a winner of Judge's Choice at Nationals. So, outstanding genetics on both the top and bottom of Jakira's pedigree. All of this information above shows that Jakira is one very well bred female. She has champion genetics and she is a beautiful girl with a good Suri phenotype. She has a wonderful true black fleece that is fine, lustrous, and nicely locked across the entire blanket. She has good estimated EPDs for 2020 and those can be seen by clicking on the link. Jakira had a 19.0 lb. black female cria on August 11, 2023. The girl was born with loads of fleece and with a really long staple to that fleece. She shows a lot of promise and has been sold. Jakira has been bred to Arappaho's BB of Harmony for a cria due in 2025.
