Patches is a farm favorite - she's a gorgeous grey girl out of Vantaggio Di Bisturi. She's a fantastic mother, and an amazing aunt to all of the other cria. We decided to change things up with breeding last year, as she was bred to 4-Sights Crawford two times prior - and had a true black both times! Figured I'd roll the dice and see what would happen being bred to a dark fawn - Boa's Aslan, (who's produced white, black, dark fawn, etc.) and the out come was a white boy! This definitely showed us that Patches does what she wants in terms of colors haha. He's a beautiful boy with loads of wrinkles and fleece, we cannot wait to see how he turns out! Patches is currently bred to Duke of Wakeman's Court Jester for a late 2023 baby! We cannot wait to see what these two produce - Court Jester's almost has a red hue to him, he's a stunning grey boy and we could not be more excited! Patches had the most stunning rose grey baby girl on 7/31. I cried tears of joy over this baby, she's a true beauty! With such a gorgeous rose grey girl from last year's pairing, Patches got another date with Duke of Wakeman's Court Jester. She is bred for a 2024 cria & we can't wait to see the results from these two again!

Nova is a truly gorgeous rose grey girl out of MCR's Patches of Vantaggio and Duke of Wakeman's Court Jester. Patches has been bred to grey numerous times, and bred to a dark fawn - always resulting in either black or white cria. I cannot tell you the joy I had when I saw a rose grey cria out in the pasture! Patches truly outdid herself this time! Nova's color is stunning, and her fleece is really starting to come in nicely. She's got an adorable white marked face with a small spot on the top of her lip, and grey all down her legs. Her body was mostly a rich root beer brown color at birth, but her legs and ears were grey! Her whole neck and chest are almost fully grey with more grey coming through now on her back. She also has a single grey spot just above her tail. Nova is full of energy and truly a character - she bounces around and gets some of the yearling girls to run around with her! Words can't explain how pleased I am with the results of this pairing - so much so that Patches has been bred back to Court Jester for a 2024 cria. I can't wait to watch Nova continue to grow and see how she looks come shearing time. She's a very curious little thing, and really seems to enjoy spending time with the one and two year old girls. She loves Hollywood, Lotus, and Calliope - she's often found pronking around with them or snuggled up next to them. Patches keeps a close eye on her, and Nova never seems to be too far from mom. This girl has the perfect stature and conformation, she has a real presence in her stance and I truly could not be happier with how she is maturing.
