WooHoo! Happy dance when this little lady was born! Gorgeous in every way with absolutely incredible fleece. Dixie's sire was sold to someone in Germany so we would love to have her remain in our herd to carry on his genetics. Appaloosas are extremely rare, and her quality is amazing! She has incredible fleece that holds up to the highest standards of a solid colored alpaca, even white! Incredible fineness with consistency through out the entire fleece. Expressive character and bundling hold true from her knees to her head. Dixie was off the farm for a few years but now she's back on MaRS and we are happily in a partnership with Las Flores del Altiplano Alpacas as she continues her production years. She was bred to AspenAlpacas Highpoint for her 2022 cria and the result is a stunning appaloosa male! It’s a no brainer that we have repeated this one. It's another appaloosa boy in 2023! We're going to keep this combination going and repeat, repeat, repeat! Hopefully we'll get a female next time.
