MEET 14x CHAMPION and 3x JUDGE’S CHOICE WINNER-ESTATES PASSIONATE FEVER! Fever is the son of Snowmass Pure Passion, our outstanding champion producing stud with 7 GET-OF-SIRE Blue Ribbons! Passion represents 30 years of passion in breeding for the perfect-colored fleece on the most beautiful-bodied alpaca. Snowmass Alpacas said, “Snowmass Pure Passion is the most magnificent Light Fawn Matrix son Snowmass Alpacas has ever produced.” Fever's maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s El Galan, our magnificent 4x champion & multiple blue-ribbon winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. His maternal great grandsire R&R Oliver Twist has consistently produced outstanding offspring in Canada and the U.S., that exhibit fine, uniform micron in their fleeces, along with crimp & correct, solid conformation. In 2019, Passionate Fever was evaluated as an A+ by senior AOA Judge Amanda VandenBosch. "He has excellent substance of bone, balance to frame, fiber coverage, good organization within staple, maintains consistency across fleece, moves to the extremities to neck, good density relative to fineness." Jill Marcellus said, "He’s a very refined looking male, He’s moderately sized, right in the middle there, & that can be very useful in a breeding program. He’s got good balance & proportion, excellent substance of bone, & a very typey male with a good strong phenotype. I really like his head style as well. His fleece is very fine & exceptionally uniform in all the fleece traits. I pulled samples from all over the place on him & really there is virtually no difference from mid-side to right into the front shoulder area to over to the hip. That also carried through with the staple type and also the expression of character through the fleece. It’s very uniform right across his body and underneath his belly." Passionate Fever was a superstar in the show ring and his offspring are too! We are thrilled to announce that Fever's 2022 daughter (Estates Fever's Fancy Flower) brought home the coveted Judge's Choice award as well as TWO Color Championship banners and Blue Ribbons (Both Halter and Walking Fleece) from the 2023 Houston halter show! Her daughter Winter Symphony is a 2x Champion with numerous blues on our current show string, and her daughter, Estates Simtustus Symphony is a Reserve Champion banner and blue-ribbon winner! Straus Minuet is the daughter of 6x Champion Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight, whose genetics carry the finest white with a well-balanced option for Elite Color. Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight won the Ultimate Silver Trophy at the International Alpaca Odyssey (which is similar to Judge's Choice for the show) and is a sire of champions to boot, with his eldest son taking two White Color Championships at large shows! Her paternal grandsire, Snowmass Matrix Majesty, won the Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year award at the 2011 Futurity as well as the Fawn Championship at the 2010 Futurity. Her dam, Estates Sedona is a beautiful fawn lady out of two true black parents - GB Judgement (one of the last black offspring of the legendary Accoyo herdsire, Ppperuvian Cahuide, to be born) and GB Storm Cat is (a two-time champion sired by Patagonia’s Darwin).
