Welcome to Alpacas of the Casa. We are a small farm located in the hills North of Monroe, Washington. We took over ownership of the farm in March of 2019 with an established foundation herd in which our focus has been to keep a small herd of quality animals. As our herd grows, we have several animals to sell to keep our herd size small. Snowmass Matrisia is a medium fawn 15yr old proven female having given birth to many quality cria’s over the years. Her father is Don Juan from Peru. She is a large animal as are many of our animals for a higher volume of fleece. Her fleece weight and % medullation score in the top 5% EPDs with most other categories in the top 25%. Matrisia has been bred to Never Summer’s US Steel of Strawberry Fields Alpaca Ranch. US Steel is a stunning silver grey with extremely fine fleece which will make a very good pairing for Matrisia. US Steel has helped produce many champion offspring and was herdsire of the year in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

We are grateful to Crescent Moon Ranch for putting Sizzin' Shak in the CABA/AWE 2023 auction. Our Shak crias are due beginning July 2024. They will be from tried and true pedigree combinations. Shak is a calm male with a gentle nature. His production record is fantastic. He has sired multiple champion offspring and they display the whole package of excellence...type, conformation, density, consistent character, uniformity...did we say dense?...coverage and extreme uniform fineness...with good bites. As of spring 2023, Shak has 22 AOA registered offspring with show placings as follows for second place or better: One placed second. Four received firsts. Two earned RCs and four earned CHs. So ten of his 22 offspring thus far, have placed first or better. Sizzlin Shak is a paternal half brother to Red Granites' Val D Lsere. Daughter, Woop De Doo, received female color championship at 2022 AOA. Son, Paulinus, received male color championship at 2023 AOA. Son, Anerobico, received male color championship and Judge's Choice at CABA. Shak is available for limited breedings to approved females. Co-owned with La Finca Alpacas and Alpacas of Pachamama.
