Color coat tested Ee aa - Magnetar is fabulous and he's creating beautiful offspring!!! Magnetar's first 2 offspring hit the ground in 2022 and they are incredible! -- 2 fawn females -- all out of white or light dams and all having rock solid conformation and promising fleece characteristics! I am so excited about his offspring, and jealous – lol – because most of them aren’t mine!! Several more arrived in 2023, and we're still happy! Zoom in on those pictures and look at those fleeces. Some are photos of day-old crias! Magnetar's fleece length is amazing along with all of his other stellar fleece characteristics — fineness and uniformity, just to name a few. We believe he'll be a rockstar in our herd! Magnetar’s color coat test came back from Neogen and his base coat phenotype is black. His color genotype is Ee aa. He can produce black! Chris Works had this to say about him: "So fine, such incredible structure and tertiary bundling, the phenotype that just says wow....And with his family tree, it is no wonder." Magnetar's 17 time Champion sire, KCF Isidoro, received his 6th Spirit of the Industry award at the 2019 PAOBA Fleece Showcase. The Work's were so proud to have him receive this award from Wini Lebrecque with such raving comments about his fineness and structure at the age of nearly 7! And of course what they really appreciate as breeders is Isidoro's ability to past his traits to his offspring, and frequently in living color!! Enter Magnetar! On the other side of Magnetar's ARI is an absolutely stellar dam, Stillmeadow Farms Majesty. This girl is a line bred Matrix Majesty rockstar that was just perfect for an out-cross to Isidoro's fleece style. Here at MMFA, we are certainly enamored of the Matrix Majesty line. We actually have three young males that have so impressed us...and with the purchase of Magnetar, we may still keep them all! Magnetar's show record reflects the fact that he was competing with CCNF Dominion over the vast majority of his show career, a true dominator in that color class. We had the opportunity to compare them side by side and we were super impressed with how very similar they were in fleece attributes. Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Bianca

Dam of Nat' Supreme Champion, Ganymede!

Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Bianca

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 31570336DOB: 11/2/201113 yrs
Bianca is the dam of Ganymede, the 15x Banner winning male who culminated his show career as the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion. Bianca has great conformation, with good bone, a correct bite; and an abundant fleece with excellent density -- and she has passed on her great qualities to her offspring! Notes within Dr. Norm Evans' skin biopsy of her son, Ganymede, indicated that the extreme uniformity likely came from the dam side. Bianca is from a long line of whites, and is the 1/2 Accoyo and 1/2 Alianza full peruvian daughter of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Her lineage includes the alpaca greats such as Hemingway, Vengador, Predictor, Odyssey, Alexander, Godfather and The Last Don. Bianca's sire and grandsire are both multi-champion herdsires. Maple Brook Bravado is a color champion-winning son of the infamous Bueno, and a grandson of the legendary Hemingway. His micron count at his ninth shearing was 21.8! That's LASTING fineness. He has sired numerous champions, including Alpaca Palace's Houdini, and Bianca's sire, Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. By eight months of age, Sirius had won a blue ribbon in every show he attended, and three championships. He topped that with many more, along with a Judge's Choice at the Level V 2009 Indiana Invitational. Bianca's cria are following in the same footsteps. She had a GORGEOUS 2015 white male cria, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, out of 2AF Peruvian Zeus. Ganymede has stacked up a total of 11 Championships and 4 Judge's Choice Awards! Ganymede's fiber is awesome, with a tight little zipper crimp and a 15.8 AFD. More than one judge has commented that "his fleece is the same...all over!" Bianca delivered a beautiful light fawn female out of Snowmass Best Man's Elite Reflection in June 2017 -- we're so excited about this girl! See Callista's webpage (SOLD)... Best Man’s Elite Reflection was sired by the multi champion Snowmass Best Man who is now in Switzerland. Elite Reflection is a multi banner winning macho whose fleece presents Consistency, and Fineness with outstanding conformation.

Description

Thank you, Plumeria Alpaca Ranch! This is one boy that I hated to let go, but I know he’ll fit in great on your farm. I hope he and Dalton will be the best of buddies! Perseus won 2nd Place at the 2024 AOA National Show in Walking Fleece and 4th in Halter against some incredible competition!!! Well, this guy gave us a little shock twice! First, as he was born, and second, when he was cria tipped! Take a look at all of those spots in the photo taken just after he was cria tipped! We’re not sure if he is an Appaloosa, or as someone told us—a spotted Pinto. But, he’ll be going to the AOA National Show in March, and we’ll see what they say. In reading the show rules, it seems that he could be placed in the Appy class, or possibly the Pattern class. Perseus is a spunky little guy -- although the youngest in his Spring 2023 class, he's the main instigator of pasture romps and it's adorable to watch him play! He’s not at all what we were expecting from the breeding, but he sure is cute! Yes, he has the two obvious large spots -- one of them is heart shaped, and he has at least a couple dozen smaller spots—we haven’t counted them all, but they’re everywhere! His spots are showing up more at the surface now. We're still watching his fleece as it develops...it may be lacking that coveted density. That being said, he's certainly no fluff ball. It has plenty of crimp and structure. See his February 2024 fleece shots, that were taken by myself with one hand. Perseus also has strong conformation with very nice bone. At 6 months old, he was 70 pounds -- excellent size for his age -- with a broad chest and a nice square frame.
