Fun in the Country's Psalm, a 5x Champion gorgeous rose grey male with incredibly fine fiber! If you want longevity of fineness and uniformity of lights and darks Fun in the Country's Psalm is your male! His sire, Aussie Guns-N-Roses, is known for passing down his longevity of fineness to his offspring. He is one of our top herdsires here at the farm and rightfully so. He is a 10x Champion with 7 Get-of-Sire wins! Wow! His grandsire, Sunset Hills Farm Andean Gold, is just a perfect example of an alpaca that has it all, and the judges agree awarding him 13 blue ribbons and eight banners. In fact he took the first AFCNA fleece award at the 2006 AOBA national show beating out younger and lighter colored fleeces. His great grandsire, 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, is one of Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas top herdsires! An 8x Color Champion male who has produced several Champion offspring in almost every color. His other great grandsire, Peruvian Victor, was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation of 1994, and in the words of the late Dr. Jim Vickers, had the “most beautiful” fleece and was the only alpaca in that importation that ranked as a 4+ in fleece. Notable genetics also include the following: PPeruvian Felix, PPPeruvian El Moustachio, Victor’s Vaccoyo, PPeruvian Victor, Peruvian Hemingway, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova, Show Me The Money, Aussie Harmony Rose, & Hannahruh. Description

Leonardo was born to Fun in the Country’s Heartthrob and Fun in the Country’s Psalm. Psalm is a multi-champion with strong EPDs and an impeccable show record. Leo has many of his sire’s traits and his dam’s mellow personality. Color Genotype: EEaa Leo’s ASIP alleles show he has a black allele in both locations. His MC1R alleles show he has no dilution. This genotype combination tells us he cannot produce light colored offspring. He will produce offspring that are dark fawn or darker, with a tendency for darker colors.
