Fun in the Country’s Genesis of Guns is a gorgeous modern dark silver grey who is a very nice, well compact male. He has great coverage of fiber and his micron has stayed consistent his whole life. Very impressive especially for a dark animal! His sire, Aussie Guns-N-Roses, is known for passing down his longevity of fineness and he did not disappoint with Genesis! Speaking of his sire… Guns-N-Roses is one of our top herdsires here at the farm. He is a 10x Champion with 7 Get-of-Sire wins! Wow! Genesis’ great grandsire, Peruvian Victor, was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation of 1994, and in the words of the late Dr. Jim Vickers, had the “most beautiful” fleece and was the only alpaca in that importation that ranked as a 4+ in fleece. His other great grandsire, Snowmass Nova, was one of the most spectacular black males in the country, combining consistency (rare in black) with density. He was Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year in 2005! Kameron is a gorgeous, hard-to-let-go-of daughter of multiple championship winner, MSA Pinot Noir. Her color and presence, along with a typey head and coverage to the toes makes Kameron the "attention getter" to guests visiting the ranch. Her pedigree includes outstanding herd sires such as Accoyo Victor, Peruvian Hemingway, Accoyo Vengador and Sinopsis Nocturna. Kameron's fleece exhibits excellent fineness and density with medium crimps per inch that carry to the tips. Her 2nd histogram of 2010 came in with a micron of 19.5. We have bred Kameron to champion BMF Taos' Zeppelin, owned by Delphi Alpacas. Zeppelin is a bay black with a zipper crimp style, and a second year histogram of 16.9 AFD, 16.9 CV, 2.9 SD, 0.4 %>30.
