**August 2021 UPDATE** Cinch is really surpassing our expectations in the fleece arena!! He was awarded 1st place in the Black Adult Male category at the 2021 Suri Network Fleece Show in July. AND on August 7, 2021 Cinch was awarded 1st place and the Spirit of the Industry Award at the PAOBA Fleece Show!!! He also scored a total of 80 points, which earned him an Advanced Fleece Award! CONGRATULATIONS CINCH!!!! At 4 years old, he is still exhibiting beautiful luster, uniformity of micron across his blanket, well defined locks and a good amount of density. ****************************************** Take a good look at this guy and book a breeding now! This male is just gorgeous! His luster is VERY nice (he shines!) and HE HAS DENSITY!! Cinch has a lot to offer any farm breeding for black or even grey. His dam is a multi award-winning female out of the GLR program. She has great potential for passing down grey genetics from her pedigree! We plan to use Cinch for both black and grey production and we are bringing in some select females just for him this year! Cinch is a wonderful, easy male to handle and is able to settle females without difficulty. He was an excellent choice for a herdsire, and he is producing true black, bay black and now a GREY cria in 2023! **Description by previous owner** CHAMPION, 2019 AOA National Show. CINCH is deep, true black and he has strong black and gray genetics in his pedigree. His dam, Korinna, a GLR Rastamon daughter, was Res Champion at MAPACA, Futurity and GWAS and her dam Kokolatte is a National Gray Champion. Add Goldstar's Vader on the top and you have Accoyo genetics including Goldstar, Rockstar and Jackpot. Cinch is exhibiting the same beautiful lock style as his multiple champion half brother, Uproar, with high luster and fineness. His micron, at 16 months, remains at 19! Cinch has excellent wave and twist lock structure, consistent across his blanket with good density.

Alex is a very sweet girl and great mother! She has had 4 crias for us so far and has had flawless births. She even makes sure that her crias eat on a regular schedule. Yes, REALLY!! We couldn't ask for a nicer female. Alex has an easy-going temperament that makes her one of our favorite keepers! She also is exibiting some really nice luster as she ages! Interestingly, this true black female has given us two medium fawn crias when bred to white and fawn males. *August 2021 UPDATE* Alex delivered a real surprise for us on August 25! A gorgeous PINTO female with sire, Mondavi-- white, med fawn, bay black/black!! This little girl is following in the footsteps of her maternal grand-dam, who was also a pinto. We are loving this little one!! JUNE 2022 We are going for the BLACK this year!! Alex was bred to Cinch for her 2023 cria. Alex has such great luster at her age and Cinch has the density PLUS luster and great locks, this should be a good match! **July 2023 UPDATE** Drum roll please......we DID IT!! Alex gave us a gorgeous true black male cria on July 20. This is the very first true black born on our farm and we are ecstatic! He was born on the feast of Saint Elias, so that will be his name. Elias is a handsome boy with lots of wrinkles on his neck and topline. We are really excited to see him develop!!

Description

WOW! FINALLY we have a black cria from Cinch and Alex. This boy is super sweet..just like all Alex's crias. He weighed in at 18.8 pounds and he is eating like a champ. Alex is a great momma and has LOADS of milk, so we are expecting him to gain well as he grows! "Elias the Black" has lots of wrinkles on his neck and topline and a very nice luster to his fleece. We are watching him with great expectations for his future! Elias appeared to be a true black at birth, but at almost a month old, he is looking bay black..... time will tell, but we will take him either way! He looks very promising!! Dec 2023-- After a few months of growth and an official color check, we have confirmed that Elias is indeed true black!! His fleece is still developing but he is coming along very well!! He is such a nice boy to handle, with a great personality too!! **Congratulations Anna Neafus on your purchase of Elias!! I can't wait to see how he fits into your plans for him! He was a hard one to let go, but I know you will be great together!!**
