UPDATE CHECK OUT HIS 2019 HISTOGRAM AT JUST UNDER 5 YEARS AND BREEDING 18.2 WITH .7% GREATER THAN 30 A CF OF 19.2 AND AN SD OF 3.5! THAT'S A 99.3% COMFORT FACTOR FOR A 5 YEAR OLD BREEDING MALE. It hasn't changed much and that's a pretty impressive histogram! Dyno has it all! His first show he took a Color Championship. He has beautiful fiber with excellent crimp, density and incredible fineness. He is very macho and carries himself on a square compact frame. Full Peruvian. His pedigree is packed full of stellar genetics. He is the son of LLC MY Peruvian Dublin who brings the genetics of MFI Peruvian Tachometer, MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack and Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His dam LLC My Peruvian Cherry Sundae contributes Principe Dorato, Royal Avenger, Legacy and Royal Fawn. His first show he took a Color Championship! Judge commented that he was the full package, wonderful handle and a very impressive animal. You really need to take a look at him and get your hands on him. To date Dyno has 1 CC and 1 RC. His fleece was entered into 2 fleece shows and he took the Best Crimp award both times! Judges have commented that they really love the crimp on this boy and he is super fine! Want lasting fineness? Check out Dyno's 5 year old histogram! Dyno is maintaining lasting fineness. We had our 2020 shearing sorted by a Certified Fiber Sorter and Dyno's 6 year old fleece sorted to a grade 2!!! The secondary to primary ratio was high. He scored a 9 out of 10 for luster, 10 out of 10 for uniformity of crimp with high frequency crimp. Comments were very uniform in crimp and grade! We love this guy!

Dam: Lagertha of IPH

Lagertha of IPH

HuacayaBred (Female)Beige
AOA# 35474722DOB: 5/20/20177 yrs
Lagertha is a feminine lovely female. She has been part of our show string. Judges always comment how consistent her fleece is across the blanket. Fleece consistency is critical to the value of end product. She is beige but there is some color in her background. Speaking of her background she has some stellar genetics. Her dam is IPH Star Attraction, a female born on our farm. Star is a Cactus Jack daughter and Charles P Atlas granddaughter. The crossing of Cactus Jack and Charles P Atlas bloodlines has proven to be a winner. Her sire Destinati brings in El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, Principe Dorato and Legacy. We had our entire herd sorted by a Certified Fiber Sorter in 2020. Lagertha scored very well. Her secondary blanket fibers scored a grade 1 and her primary blanket fibers scored a grade 2!! Her S:P Ratio is High making her overall blanket score is a grade 1! She's quite fine and consistent verifying what judges have said in the past. Even her seconds scored a grade 2 and grade 3. Lagertha has been bred to Dyno. This cria should have very fine fleece! Lagertha delivered a lovely female. We named her Freya. She has lovely very fine fleece. She has now been exposed to E Pluribus Unum!! Excited for this pairing!

Service Sire: Howling Hill’s Conspicuous

Legend Maker, Black Epic, Matrix…

Howling Hill’s Conspicuous

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 36142316DOB: 9/15/20213 yrs
WOW… just WOW! We were over the moon when given the opportunity to add this handsomely spotted harlequin boy, Howling Hill’s Conspicuous, aka Spike, to our herd sire line up. No doubt, Spike is striking in color, but take a look at his fleece traits and genetic potential for reproducing, because truly, that is what a breeding pairing is all about! Spike’s Harlequin Appaloosa gene can be traced back to Legend Maker and Black Epic, two of the most prolific Harlequin Appaloosa producers in the US. His sire is none other than Red Granite’s Man of Mystery (formerly known as Pinktus), who now resides at Willow Wind Alpaca Farm in Westcliffe, CO. Man of Mystery is a beautiful representation of a harlequin, and at 127.2 follicles/ square mm in density, he is the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the US…and to quote Ian Watt, “Overall, this is the best alpaca I have tested in the US.” To add more to the table, Spike’s dam, ELK Matrix Haley is a Snowmass Matrix daughter, adding more powerhouse genetics and uniformity. Here’s what the judges have had to say about Spike: - Very strong and well balanced - Impressive from his head style throughout his body balance - Incredible amount of fiber across his frame - Fleece opens up cleanly - Good solidity in his fleece - Striking color - Maintaining good softness throughout - Spectacular coloring - I actually heard myself say WOW when the alpaca came in Spike truly has ALL you are looking for in a harlequin appaloosa program- Color and conformation without sacrificing fleece traits!
