Jake is one of our herdsires, that we carefully selected from some of the most elite bloodlines in the country. He is a son of Avalon's Jacob Black, one of the most influential black herdsires in the country, and hails from Triple Diamonds in Michigan- a High Point Award Winning AOA program. Spring 2023 - Jake Sheared off 11 POUNDS of gorgeous fleece! He turns heads anytime we show him off. Jake is a really cool, in your pocket alpaca in the field. He is one of the first to meet you at the gate and his presence is absolutely stunning! His crimp is uniform and offers lots of density with exceptionally long staple length, and we can't wait for him to put his stamp on our breeding program. He is learning new commands currently including - coming when called by name, kissing on command and to allow petting his fleece on verbal command in the pasture.
