Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, a great addition to our herd since summer 2019. With the successful years of having Snowmass Pure Reserve XX and the offsprings he produced, we needed to find a herdsire that would continue the art of breeding and advance us into another level of quality in alpacas. In our 2020 crop of crias from Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, we found just that, a consistent quality of strong, dense, fine, organised and uniform fleeces in these crias. Everlasting Highlander XX participated in 2 fleeces shows at 4 & 5 years of age where he showed elite results in all categories with comments "Crazy fine & uniform, especially for age" and " Quite impressive fineness of secondaries for age!!" Everlasting Highlander XX is a result of 30 years of committed passion in the improvement of alpaca genetics at Snowmass Alpacas. He is compact, dense, uniform with longevity of fineness showing at the age of 6 a histogram of 18.6/4.1/1.2>30 SF 18.3 with a curvature of 66!!! January 31, 2022. It's with great sadness that we announce that Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX passed away this morning. A necropsy will be done to try and understand his death.

Alpaca Coat Colour Test Results: Ee a1a2 Base Coat Phenotype: B Chicha de Charlevoix, what can be said of this beautiful appaloosa/harlequin female. She's spunky and she's fun to have around. Chicha's 3rd cria is a beautiful appaloosa female out of Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX and now resides at Forest Cove Alpacas. Chicha has a multitude of colours in her blanket and spun together makes a very interesting colour. Chicha is bred to Ariya Maringo's Xander, our Champion Grey Male for a 2023 offspring. Alpagas Charlevoix will have the honour of having Chicha's next offspring as she is now returning to her roots in Charlevoix. We will miss her! Chicha est accouplée à Ariya Maringo's Xander, notre Champion Grey Male pour une progéniture 2023. Alpagas Charlevoix aura l'honneur d'avoir la prochaine progéniture de Chicha puisqu'elle revient maintenant à ses racines dans Charlevoix. Elle va nous manquer !
