Sweet Pines Truly Elite (Ellie) is one of our best producers. Her genetics shine through in offspring with extreme fineness and staple uniformity which equates to a wonderful silky soft handling fleece - and the length is incredible too! Ellie is also one of our friendliest alpacas, making her a nice PR alpaca, which she often passes on to her cria. All of her offspring have that attractive teddy bear head as well. Ellie's sire is Snowmass Truly Invincible, a light brown handsome stud with extreme uniformity. The small spot on Ellie's hip is his color. These elite Snowmass genetics contribute to Ellie's Top 1% status in three different EPD categories - AFD, %>30, and MSL. This kind of uniformity and length is just exactly what we are all looking for. Ellie's dam, Sweet Pines Springs, comes from extreme fineness as well, and has been an absolutely wonderful mama. She is retired now, but still going strong at almost 18 yrs old. She produced many award-winning offspring for us. We were lucky to have such a dependable producer in our herd.
