Welcome Red Granites Pallaton to our herd! Purchased at the Amber Autumn Auction, Pallaton has grown into a beautiful male. From Reserve Champion at his 1st Canadian Show to Supreme Champion at his 2nd show. Pallaton was able to settle a few females easily at 2 years of age. The temperament on this boy is stellar and so is his fleece. High frequency super fine consistent fleece on a mid sized perfect frame. What more could you ask for? How about producing black? Yup, Pallaton's first cria was black! We are very pleased with the offspring that Pallaton has sired. His offspring from 2021 are some of the best produced here at KJ Alpacas. A beautifully fleeced Snowmass Velvetier daughter new to the KJ herd. Esme has matured nicely and delivered a beautiful fawn Pallaton daughter (SOLD). Esme is a great mom with lots of milk. Esme is ranked in the top 5% in 4 fleece traits in EPDs. Esme delivers a solid fawn boy in 2023! Great color production from Esme. Esme has been left open to get her on an earlier birthing schedule. Esme comes with a complimentary breeding of buyers choice. We would either choose Kane for color or Zip It if you prefer white. When Esme is open she is so friendly and loves attention. Not so when she is bred so we are enjoying her this winter! We have now bred Esme to Kane! This should be a super nice cria.

Valk is unrelated to only 2 girls in my herd and so we are making the tough decision to list him for sale. I so wish he wasn’t he is everything as a breeder we strive for, if he was female he would have been placed in the foundation, herd never to leave. He is currently being bred to them for 2025 crias. He is the incredible fusion of Conopa and Resolute genetics. He is fine, dense, incredible staple length and very handsome. He is ee aa so should throw incredible colour including black. Valk has started his breeding career and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Update, we just sheared Valk and wow his second fleece has over 5 inches of staple length, this was a super heavy cutting fleece and staying fine which is exactly what we expect from his genetics. Valkyrie will be starting his breeding career this summer. He is an incredible fusion our two of the best bloodlines in Canada. This handsome guy is from our 3X Supreme Champion Lexus and our big stud on campus Resolute!! All a breeder wants is a male that can replace the one male that changed her whole breeding program. I have waited a long time for this little guy and we have high hopes for him. He already is showing great presence bone, that Conopa head style. He also brings fineness and shine from Resolute.
