Lakota is out of TWO appaloosa parents. Is he homozygous? We think so. His first kids hit the ground in 2020 and all were spotted. We bred a number of females to him for the 2021 season along with some outside breedings and he delivered every single darn time. We love Lakota for his sturdy frame, very solid fleece character (fineness, density and character) and sweet temperament. He has a nice array of spots to share and so far he has shared them well. Did I mention his fleece quality? Its noteworthy. And he passes it along. We have some amazing kids to preview and photos will be posted shortly. We are offering a limited number of breedings through 2024( 5 to be exact). So if you want to jump on a relatively guaranteed outcome with an amazing guy - please contact us! 9 year histo update: 23.5/4.7 :)

Wooley Beasts Banshee

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 32309751DOB: 7/17/201311 yrs
This gal has a lot going for her. Very nice conformation, heavy bone and gorgeous dense fleece. And that "teddy bear" head, her sire stamps on all his offspring. I know she looks dark brown, but down at the skin she is a shiny jet black! Can't wait to see her shorn. Update: Banshee showed at GWAS and placed 6th in a tough class. The judge liked her fineness and staple length and her conformation and size for her age. Banshee will make a fine foundation girl. She has an impressive pedigree on both sides and brings out the best qualities of her heritage. Banshee was bred 9/15/20 to WWLH Lakota. She delivered 8/27/21, a fabulous appy boy, who will be available upon weaning.

Description

Taché has a gorgeous pattern and might as well be a leopard without full coverage - especially if you look at his post-shearing picture! He's incredibly dense and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do when the time comes.
