Mr Alejandro is truly something special. He is ultra fine in black and retaining the numbers through the years. At 5 years of age, he is still producing fleece as fine as the juveniles. He is consistent both in the staple and across the blanket, down the hip, and up into the neck. Alejandro has a true macho look to him with loads of fleece packed all over his frame. This fleece is possibly the brights black fleece I have come across. Alejandro has extensive black and grey genetics that make him perfect for a dark breeding program. Alejandro's cria have started to hit the ground and they are stellar! After his first three cria, both Penny and I decided to breed most of our herd to Alejandro. In the 2017 breeding year, Alejandro will be bred to approximately 80% of the females on our farm. We have access to a lot of solid studs but truly believe in what Alejandro can do! Alejandro's first histogram at 8 1/2 months old is AFD 16.6 SD 3.5 CV 20 % OVER 30 0.6.....I was thrilled to see this kind of fineness and consistency in a black fleece. Co-owned with Penny Holbrook of Black Hill's Alpacas.

Dragonheart's Ramblin Rose

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 35262022DOB: 9/6/201410 yrs
This alpaca is owned by our dear friends at The Cozy Red Cottage. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, their small herd is available for sale. The Lillybridge’s took time to select animals of high genetic value when cultivating their small herd of six. You now have the opportunity to own high quality animals at a low price. Feel free to hit the “Ask the Seller a Question” to learn more about this animal. *************************************************************************************************** Ramblin' Rose (Ari) is an interesting one. She has a fleece that appears rose grey once parted however, being that her fleece is made up of fawn and white fibers, not brown and white, some people would classify her as an indefinite or roan. She has shown in both grey and indefinite. Whether you consider her a grey, indefinite, or fawn, her quality is clear. She has extremely fine secondaries that give her an insane brightness and smooth handle. Her fleece organizes into a high frequency crimp. Even though hard to define, her color is consistent across her blanket. Looking at her, her conformation is sound and a stunner in the pasture. She looks like a replica of her sire and that is definitely not a bad thing!

The Lillybridge’s took time to select animals of high genetic value when cultivating their small herd of six. You now have the opportunity to own high quality animals at a low price. These word some to mind as you see Princess Poppy in the field. She is a very well grown female for age with an even rose grey colored fleece throughout her blanket. She demonstrates good structure and consistency through the entire fleece. She holds good density and moderate fineness. Both sire and dam express a roan color genotype that is also expressing in Poppy. She will continue to produce solid modern grey alpacas. This is the female to add phenotype, color, and structure to a colored breeding program.
