We often call this male Sir Duffington because he just has this way about him. He’s calm, cool and collected, but when he needs to settle the herd, he will. Duffy is a beautiful, true black male. He has great body confirmation and is super easy to handle. He is as dark as can be with full body coverage. A new histogram is needed to show how his fleece has matured, but he maintains staple length, color and fineness. We’ve had several of his blankets processed into yarn and other items and they all turn out beautifully. We receive so many comments on how black the yarn turns out and most can’t believe it’s all natural. We had a particularly nice pairing of him to one of our higher quality light fawn females and they produced a beautiful, true black female showcasing a teddy bear face.

Our sweet Peach Blossom was the start of our alpaca adventure! When we saw her name, I knew we had to get into alpacas. We purchased her as a yearling and 4 others and haven’t looked back since. She was my absolute favorite animal I’ve ever owned and we miss her every day. Before she passed she gave us one beautiful girl that is a spitting image of her, just in black! Raya is a tribute to her. Peach was a farm favorite and all our visitors loved to hand feed her as she would be the first to greet them.

Yukon is a large, stout male, with a handsome frame. When he stands proud he looks just like his sire NS Magic Flight- multi champ AND multi champ producer. Yukon has a beautiful classic grey head and black, panda eyes. He’s gentle and very easy to handle. As you can see we even walked him in a parade and he hardly reacted to any noise or the crowd. His favorite past time is to rub his face on people. We love his easy going personality! His blanket is a very light silver grey, but check his genetics and you won’t be disappointed. He comes from excellent lines on both sides and is full of color. His 2022 epd’s: AFD 34% SDAFD 36% SF 34% >30 30% MC 37% %M 25%. He has wonderful softness, handle, density and local fiber artists have raved about working with his fleece. His 6 yr old histogram shows he’s maintaining his fineness at 23 microns. With big names like Snowmass Enlightenment, NS Magic Flight, Patagonia’s Ernesto and Patagonia’s Lennox in his background, we are excited to see what quality offspring Yukon will produce.
