Edison is a beautiful, fleecy copy of his sire, MFI Armoire. Edison's fleece has been described as " the definition of density" and multiple times as " a carpet" most notably by judge Wade Geese. Edison does not mind standing still and allowing us the pleasure of burying our hands into that wonderful soft, dense fleece. He continued to produce fleece with a very nice staple length even at 31 months old and his fleece is a dream to work with. At 2 years old his AFD was still 19.9 with a SD of 3.5 and CF of 98.9. He has wonderful conformation and excellent bone structure. He also has a very nice personality and has passed that onto his progeny. He brings many wonderful lineages to the table including 4Peruvian Legacy/ Snowmass Millenium, Jeronimo and others. Eddie began his show career late but consistently took a first place in his class. Edison has several progeny on the ground one of which is here at the Buckeye this weekend; take a look at Northern Blessings Freyja. Edison has been consistent in producing color when bred to color. We have not genotyped Edison but have had 2 of his babies genotyped. Northern Blessings Edward is Ee Aa3. and Freyja is ee a2a2. We can assume that Freyja inherited a black allele from each parent. We think that he is a very special boy!

This phenotypically great female is the complete package with champion genetics. Her fleece has incredible staple length, uniform crimp from skin to tip and she is a great mom with lots of milk. He comes with Amazon until weaned. Storm Warnings' sire is 13 Time grey Color Champion, A and A & MFI Quixotic. Storm also placed 1st at The Futurity in 2017. *** update*** Amazon gave birth to a lovely beige girl on July 10, 2020. Masha, who owns Storm Warning wanted to give all of Storms offspring the name of whatever named storm is current. This year for Storm Warnings very first offspring Hurricane Fay was moving up the east coast and so Fay it is. See photo. July 2020: Amazon has been bred to our multiple 1st place winner Edison for a July 2021 cria. He has some phenomenal genetics including Jeronimo, Legacy and Snowmass Millenium. Amazon gave birth on July 18, 2021 to a really beautiful dark fawn boy we are calling Maclean. summer 2021 amazon was bred to our own Edison and gave birth to a handsome male we named Edward. I know he's just a cria but he definitely shows promise. Amazon is currently bred to our white herd sire White Chocolate.who is out of Royal Gold XX, one of Crystal Lake Alpacas top herd sires. White Chocolate, or Choco as we call him, received the White Color Championship in Walking Fleece at the 2021 Buckeye Fall Festival. Choco has top 10 EPD's. Amazon is due June 14th 2024. Update* Amazon gave birth to an absolute beauty of a beige girl on June 20, 2024. She is out of our champion White Chocolate and is already showing signs of the beautiful fleece that her daddy carries. Since the last breeding with White Chocolate went so well we have decided to repeat the breeding again for a late September birth.
