This beautiful guy comes from a Dam who carries low microns even as a very mature adult and his Sire was the 2006 AOBA National Show White Color Champion Bruxo's Peruvian Luxor. Judge David Friedman said he had the finest fleece and best luster in the class at the GMAF in April 2009. Avelanche took 3rd at the Interstate 80 Alpacafest after arriving late at night soaking wet from driving through heavy rains and wind. Avelanche is a reliable breeder and a producer of nice crias, we've just marked him down by $3,000 because our new young white Suris have begun their breeding career and our ratio of males to females is out of balance.

Prima Donna comes from 2 very good fleece and show lines and looks like she will carry on the tradition of excellence. Prima Donna is an excellent bright white girl. She is a large framed girl with great fiber coverage and nice locks. Her mom has nice curls and her fawn dad had a 21 micron count at 21 months of age and has gray in his neck and head. Donna has had 2 beautiful cria with us. Her first was a huacaya, Phuzzy Boy Phloyd. This year she had her 2nd cria, a beautiful white girl. Donna was bred to our very own Tuco. Tuco is a nice tall, fine and lustrous male. It is only his 2nd cria but this little girl is very nice. She will be a real show stopper. Donna was bred to CT. for a Fall 2016 cria and that cria is Coco.

Description

Phuzzy came with our original herd and has become the farm mascot. He’s an “accidental” huacaya born from two Suri parents. Phuzzy looks like Oliver J. Dragon (from Kukla, Fran & Ollie) crossed with Big Bird. He is very sweet, but timid with most humans. His Suri ancestry and a prominent underbite keep him as a non-breeder. Even at 10 years old, Phuzzy still often acts like a cria, pronking across the paddock to get his feed pellets. Despite his antics, he is the smartest of our adult males. Phuzzy had beautiful, fine fiber when he was younger, but his fiber diameter increased and we use it mostly for rug yarn now.
