Jack is back at Rainbow Mountain Alpacas. I am loving his crias. He has had 2 very special appy crias. Call to get a breeding now. THANK YOU to Alan and Patti for allowing Jack to stand stud at my farm in 2021 and 2022. Jack is here now for breedings. Jack is a very macho boy and has proven he has what it takes. He is sire to a beautiful bay black male from my herd in 2021, Griffin. Griffin did very well in the show ring. Diana Timmerman was pleased with his "extreme luster". We just had a beautiful happy female from him in June. Definitely a rebreeding with Jack! Jack popped out with an appy spotted nose and a very light fleece that looked brilliant white. As he has grown over the past 6 months, it is clear that he is a light silver grey with spots, grey ears, and grey feet. This 1/2 Accoyo appy boy by our appy herd sire, Fusion, has a great personality and loads of fine fleece. Top that off with great conformation, he makes an unusual appy herd sire. His dam, MaKenzie, is a full Accoyo. Jack is a substantial boy and is easy to handle, friendly, and very curious. Jack-in-the-Box is now standing stud and he settled his first female, a beautiful true black suri, in the fall of 2020, with the pregnancy confirmed via ultrasound. He produced a solid bay black cria with shocking luster and lock. He is bred to several females for 2021 crias.

UPDATE:2024. Nice little brown male cria at side UPDATE; Olympia had a beautiful Appy female cria. Extreme luster from Fusion's Jack in the Box. In 2023 Olympia is a real sweetheart! She arrived at 21.8 lbs, and hasn't stopped growing. While she was only 10 months old at her first show, she was one of the biggest females in the juvenile class. She has above average bone and size, and will be a great foundation female. She has a very nice personality, and will stand while you pet her and pick up her feet. She likes to be petted! Her color is gorgeous - a very uniform medium brown from tip of her ears down to her toes, with wave and a twist locks. Beautiful luster, too! When you touch her fleece, it feels like melted butter and makes you want to keep touching her. Her dam is Icon's Golden Girl , aka "Gidget on the farm", a beautiful dark fawn by Lost Creek's Black Icon, who produced many winning black foundation dams for Wilkin's Livestock. She is a major fleece producer and shears 7 lbs per year, with a 3.25-3.75 lb blanket. She is also holding fineness and luster in her fleece. Olympia's sire is the well-known Macgyver's Balboa, a true black herdsire who racked up 12 Championships and was considered "unbeatable" for many shows. His offspring garner many ribbons and championships and he is well-respected as a top-producing herd sire, with the good chance of producing black. Balboa's sire is one of industry's top herd sires, DDF Peruvian Macgyver (now deceased). Awards Reserve Color Champion - 2016 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show - Brown Suris (10 in class) 1st Place - 2016 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show - Brown Juvenile Suris (6 in class) 4th Place- 2015 MAPACA Jubilee Halter Show - Medium Brown Suri Females (6 in class)
