SNOWMASS ENLIGHTENMENT

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 1238747DOB: 12/1/200420 yrs
Every once in a while a herdsire arrives on the scene that turns everyone's head. Enlightenment is just that herdsire. Per Snowmass Alpacas, "Enlightenment is the most magnificent grey stud we have ever produced". Per the 2009 Kentucky Classic Judge, without a doubt, best male animal in the show. This stunning male combines perfect conformation and magnificent fleece. He is the "Total Package". Just like his sire, Enlightenment produces quality in all colors. We have shown and won with offspring in grey, brown, bay black and fawn. Several of his offspring have gone on to banner and if anyone is willing to part with one of his offspring they are sure to be in the top 5 sellers at auction. Snowmass Enlightenment genetics will help you realize the full potential of your breeding program. Recent shows and sales: At the 2013 MAPACA Jubilee, 2 of the 6 entries in the judges choices were Enlightenment offspring. At the 2014 AOA National Auction an Enlightenment female was 4th in order of selling price and went on to take a banner in the National show. Enlightenment currently has over 99 registered offspring. Of the 99, 12 are banner winners and an additional 35 have taken the top three ribbons at shows. Looking for grey? Enlightenment has produced 42% grey across all colors. This male gives you the best odds of getting a winning grey cria! Enlightenment is co-owned with Heatherbrook Farm, and Morning Beckons Farm. Contact us today to reserve your 2014 breeding!!!

Seena's Pride & Glory

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 32003178DOB: 3/24/201014 yrs
Seena's Pride & Glory is a very dense and crimpy medium brown female being 100% Peruvian and 50% Accoyo. Her fiber is incredible as this combination of Seena & Andian Pride has always been. Her Full sister(Natalie from same sire and dam) set the record at The Peruvian Classic Sale at Stachowski Farms in Mantua, Ohio on November 1st, 2003 selling for $40,000.00. Her sire Andian Pride has thrown all first and second place winners. Andian Pride was a Blue Ribbon winner at the 2000 AOBA All American Futurity show and a Red Ribbon winner at the AOBA sponsored Michigan Alpaca Breeders show 2001. Andian Pride has Impeccable fiber fineness, crimp and density besides incredible coverage, and strong bony conformation made him the perfect sire. This 100% Accoyo male who was born in HISTAC quarantine during 98 importation has continued to produce some breathtakingly beautiful crias. All of his dam's(Peruvian Seena) daughters have sold in auctions. Her half sister Rich Girl(from Seena and Accoyo Rama) sold in the same auction for $27,000.00. Seena's Goldilock's who sold at the National Auction for $68,000 in 2004 had an excellent Show Record: Kentucky Classic 1st and Color Champion out of 26 entries, PAOBA 1st & Color Champion, AOBA Nationals Reserve Color Championship and 2nd in full fleece. Seena's Pride & Glory was born 3/24/2010. We have had skin biospy's done by Dr. Norm Evans on dam Seena's cria with the following results: All of their follicle density's were over 77.5 follicles/mm! Their S/P ratio's were an astounding 9.00/1 or better. All of their secondary medullated fibers were 5-% or higher and all have awesome gland density. "These alpacas have many powerful genetic traits", per Dr. Norm Evans. Glory was bred to Snowmass Enlightenment and had a MRG female cria on 4/8/13 we named Reina Perfecta. Reina took 1st & Color Champion at MIAF this fall at 7 months old. Reina was consigned to the AOA National Auction in March 2015 and sold to the Grey Company $13,000. She then went on to win Reserve color champion over 50+ gray females, and also was reserve Color Champion at Mapaca. She was bred back to Frango on 5/31/13 and had a handsome black male cria, El Capitan. The cria is not included in this sale. She is now being bred back to Snowmass Enlighenment to hopefully produce a carbon copy of Reina.
