Estates Sakima's Braxton

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 35575078DOB: 9/25/20195 yrs
We've been searching for a black herdsire to cover our Captain Midnight, Contender and Chicago offspring. We think Braxton is our guy. We are so excited to announce that Braxton has been awarded the Color Championship in the Black Male Invited Champions at the 2021 National Alpaca Show in Grand Island Nebraska. Thank you to our partner Lynn Edens for showing Estates Sakima's Braxton. It is interesting to note that Braxton's sire, Patagonia Estates Sakima won Reserve Champion Black Male at the age of 69 months at this same show. That says a lot about the future. Braxton and his wonderful combination of genetics are exciting for the future of black (and grey) alpacas here at Cinco C's Alpacas and Little Creek Farm Alpacas. Braxton won again at the 2022 AOA National Alpaca Show in Ft Wayne, IN. He was awarded 1st and Champion Black Male in the Invited Champions Class for 2022. He's now back to work and we anxiously await his first group of crias. Thank you to all you folks who have inquired about breedings to Braxton. Braxton's breedings are closed to outside breedings. Both farms have females bred to him for sale. His first crias have arrived and they stunning! Of his 29 crias 22 are black and our latest is a DSG female. He has 2 DF crias both from white dams. There are two champions so far and I'm betting on at lot more to come. The crias I have had my hands on are all very uniform with very bright, dense fleeces. We're excited to see the next round of crias from Braxton. Color Genotype EEa2a2

Dam: 5C's Chocotini

Amazing Production Female

5C's Chocotini

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 31342087DOB: 10/28/200816 yrs
We absolutely love this girl. She's the first cria from our Chantica and she's every bit as wonderful as her mother. Chocotini's dark brown fleece is extremely dense with a very high frequency crimp. Her phenotype is stunning and her demeanor is very pleasing. See her...touch her and take a look at her fiber stats at 15 years old and you will realize why she's so priceless to us. Check out the photo of her first cria Chanel. Then check her 2nd cria, Captain Midnight. She's a great mother and producer. We're so pleased that her beautiful brown daughter, Chocolate Kiss is now producing at Hilltop Hideaway in Virginia. 7/11/2022 Delivered a TB/BB female sired by Braxton. Ciara is another Champion offspring for Chocotini. Chocotini and Dark Chocolate created a beautiful male for us. Born 6/13/2024. We haven't decided if he's black or dark brown but his quality is unquestionable. We look forward to watching this guy grow up. At 16 Chocotini is still healthy and stunning, but we have decided to allow her to retire her here on the farm. She has done amazing things for us.

Service Sire: Amber Autumn Magavin

Stunning Champion Male/Champion Crias

Amber Autumn Magavin

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30717817DOB: 3/26/20177 yrs
Oh BOY oh BOY........Check out our newest addition, Amber Autumn Magavin. This fabulous fawn male was acquired at the Amber Autumn Auction 2018. After seeing this boy at the Buckeye show early in February, we just had to have him. Extraordinary brightness, density, staple length, uniformity and beautiful bundling is a mild description of Magavin's fleece. His conformation is impeccable with great substance of bone, great coverage, beautiful head style and a perfect bite. His pedigree is outstanding as well with the likes of Royal Fawn, Legacy, Zephyrus, Andean Gold, Peruvian Ivano and Sweet William (a white macho who sired more solid colored champions than any other male in Canada). With many colors in his pedigree including our favorites, black and grey how could we go wrong? Our first show as Magavin's new owners (AOA National), he won his class of juvie medium fawn males and then the Reserve Color Champion Fawn Male class. We think we have a keeper here. MAPACA Jubilee's Fawn Male Color Champion 2018 is MAGAVIN!!!! When Jude Anderson evaluated him at MAPACA she went all the way down to his belly and all four legs and proudly awarded him the Fawn Male Championship Banner. His first crias have hit the ground. See the photo of our first cria who is BLACK!!! His crias are fantastic, just like Magavin.. Check out our bred females or his beautiful crias to add Magavin's genetics to your herd. We are very excited about the future of this beautiful herdsire. His color genotype is eea2a2 which means he's a totally dilute black. We proudly co-own this fantastic male with our friend Deb Potts-Ragan at Cloverleaf Alpacas.

Description

5C's Ciara is the first cria from Braxton, In this case we chose Captain Midnight's dam and I think we have another great one! Ciara is a big sturdy female with plenty of promise. Color Champion as a yearling. She is most likely her dam's replacement and we'll breed her in the spring of 2024. She's bred to Magavin for a 2025 cria. This cria's color is 50:50 black or fawn. No matter what the color, we're very confident that this cria will be stunning. Color Genotype Eea1a2 NG
