I was at work when this boy was born. Talking to my daughter on the phone I asked "how's his fleece look". She replied, "It looks ridiculous!" When I saw for myself I agreed, and whimsically A Paca Fun's Ridiculous was named. Ridiculous is the product of 8x color champion A Paca Fun's Silver Sensation and the get of Patagonia's Lennox. He is a pale silver gray who's fleece shows uniformity, well organized crimp, fine handle and......ridiculous density. He competed well in the ring, against one of the toughest line ups of gray males we have ever seen, and recently demonstrated his longevity by taking Reserve Champions (fleece) at 5 years of age against the current heavy hitters! His first batch of cria are on the ground and we are quite pleased! They consistently display excellent conformation, a tight high frequency crimp style, and... ridiculous density ;) Update: Ridiculous cria's are following in their sires foot steps and competing very well in the show ring! Paragon's Silver Centar won Color Champion at NAAS 2018 at 4 yrs of age, and 4-Sights Fabulicious was both the AOA National and Futurity Color Champion 2018!

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 31973724DOB: 4/24/201014 yrs
This female is stunning. Her pedigree is almost entirely black and grey with a little bit of fawn from her grandsire, Vyrtual Reality. We are reluctantly placing Betty on our sales list, mostly because we have her granddam and we are keeping her first cria. Her first cria, sired by Dorian, is a knock-out, beautiful dark silver grey girl. Currently bred to .38 Special. Betty is an excellent addition as a foundation female to any gray breeding program. Betty sells with a breeding to any unrestricted CSAF herdsire.

Description

I purchased Lotus sight unseen, I just knew I was looking for a girl with great genetics that could have the chance of producing grey. When I got a call about Lotus, I instantly said yes. Lotus' sire is A Paca's Fun Ridiculous, who's a stunning grey boy out of Silver Sensation. Her dam is HA Betty Davis Eyes, another gorgeous grey out of HA Shades of Grey. I was thrilled to be able to acquire this girl, and I absolutely cannot wait to see what she produces and how she grows! After shearing, this girl truly does look grey. Both sides of her chin are grey, as well as her chest, legs, and neck. She is a stunning female. She's slowly making new friends here at my farm, she came here with Hollywood and Brownie and seems extremely bonded to Hollywood. She knows exactly where her and Hollywood get their dinner, and both wait for me to open the gate for them to run in to eat. Lotus is starting to really stand up for herself now, she was very quiet and standoffish when she arrived - but now that she's learned the ropes around here she'll make sure no one pushes her or Hollywood around! She's the most talkative alpaca, humming whenever I'm in the pasture - it's like she just wants to know what I'm doing! She always has to make sure she's not too far from her pal, Hollywood.
