Specifically analyzing alpacas in the white male classes Lynn says: “Snowmass Elite Legend was by far the most important living sire represented in the collective pedigrees of the winning white male group: 18 of the 60 winning white males were produced by Elite Legend or descendants of his, and they were produced by 14 different breeding programs. He meets every test of prepotency for the production of show stock.” Azlan is closed to outside breedings but we have his offspring and females bred to him for sale. The owner of Snowmass Elite Legend announced that he is no longer settling females. Snowmass Elite Legend genetics can only be obtained from his offspring. We are fortunate to have these elite genetics in Azlan.

We are very happy that we were able to add Accoyo America Angelfish to our breeding program. We are looking forward to the 2017 show season with her before she goes back to Little Creek Farm for breeding in the spring of 2018. A color champion at her first show Accoyo America Angelfish has an ultra-fine, dense fleece with the same brightness and luscious handle that her sire Kingfish did at that age. Angelfish carries all this on a feminine, upright well-balanced. We fell in love with this female for her heavy fine fleece genetics. Angelfish's dam, Treasure , a Road Warrior daughter sheared nearly 9 lbs of 20 micron fleece the same week she gave birth to Angelfish, her third cria. Her sire, Kingfish sheared well over 9 pounds of 19 micron fleece last spring. Angelfish was awarded Best Crimp at the 2017 AOA National Fleece Conference and 2017 ABR Fall Festival. Angelfish is one of our Stud Females at Flying Iron Ranch.

Guapo is a light fading fawn out of beige parents with impeccable pedigrees Of note the Accoyo Express line known for elite structured fleece, robust frames and a rainbow of alpaca colors! Dam, Biscotti has an AFD at 6 yrs old of 18.5 and SDAFD of 4.0. Sire, Indy's 5 year old fleece had an AFD of 19.8.
