NOW STANDING AT ALPACA PALACE, PENNSYLVANIA, UNTIL LATE FALL 2016. The Lad will catch your eye in a heartbeat. LAD'S FLEECE TESTED AT 18.7 MICRONS WITH A 4.5 SD AT AGE 2!! AGE 8: HOLDING AT 20.2 with a 4.6 SD!! As the youngest in his class of 13, he placed third at the Great Western (06) and then went on to 1st and Color Champion at the ABR Fall Festival (2006). In March 2007, The Lad placed 1st at the Southwest Regional Show and at Texolan he took first and Reserve Color Champion. At Mopaca In January 2008, he was awarded first and Reserve Color Champion. His pen was crowded with admirers and he remains one of the main attractions for visitors to Dundee Farm. At his final show at GWAS, he placed first over a stunning true black Legacy grandson. The Lad's cria micron came it at 18.2 with a comfort factor of 99. By two years of age, it had risen to 18.7. The Lad's 2012 report (age 8) came in at: AFD: 20.2, SD: 4.6, CV: 22.8, >30: 3.1... amazing considering his age and color. His crias first fleeces are coming in from 14.8 to 18.0. He is dense, covered from head to toe to tail with curly, bright, fiber, and has extreme coverage on his remarkable head. He has the classic square bodied conformation and turns heads wherever he goes. The Lad's crias are ALL true black or dark brown. And...now a ROSE GREY out of a rose grey dam. They are winning in the show ring. Harris, owned by Annie's Alpaca Ranch, took a first at both GWAS and AOBA Nationals. Other standouts include Raine and Soldier (a Reserve Champion at 3 years old...MOPACA show, Reserve Champion at Oklahoma, and Champion at Ozarks Show) from Flatland Ranch, and Bonnie and from Manna Meadows.

Jordan is a very sweet dark silver gray girl. She has a beautiful bright, crimpy deep dark silver gray fleece. She and Minnie Pearl were born just a day apart and are great little friends. She is her dam, Valencia's, first cria, and we are so pleased. She is a very straight, correct girl! Her fleece is an amazing, dark silver gray with zipper crimp. Very fine, with a buttery soft handle. Jordan is bred to Dundee's The Lad for a 2020 cria.

Description

Sadie is a true black daughter of Dundee's the Lad. A compact girl, we are excited to see her cria from Irish Meadows Endgame in 2023! She had a rose gray roan boy, BSRA Quinn. Sadie birthed easily and is an excellent mother. Sadie had a beautiful bay or true black boy from A Paca Fun's Sonic Shift June 18, 2024. We unfortunately lost him June 26, 2024 due to probable heat stress and dehydration.
