ALPACA PALACE'S ZINGER

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 35180524DOB: 7/20/20168 yrs
ZINGER is a stand out, Great phenotype and bone structure. His fiber is very consistent throughout his whole frame. He is the spiting image of his sire ZAGATO, ARI # 32423105, a multi ribbon champion! Zagato produced a boy in his likeness with SA Peruvian What's Cooking (Cookie) and he is a real Zinger! He has all the attributes of a great one like his Sire, Multi-Judge's Choice and Champion, Sunset Hill's Zagato. We purchased him w/his mom Cookie at the Las Vegas Priority Auction , 2017 and what a looker. The judges at AlpacaPalooza and Great Western Alpaca Show in 2017 were truly impressed . "Consistent fiber throughout, Great phenotype, solid confirmation with great bone density". 2020 ZINGER is a Proven Herd Sire with several offspring on the ground. April 2023 upddate: We have 5 Zinger offspring going to the Great Western Alpaca Show. They will all compete in walking fleece, halter and 3 will compete in a class called Get of Sire (3 alpacas with the same sire but different dams) and 2 will compete in Produce of Dam (2 alpacas from the same dam, at least 1 year apart - in this case also the same sire). We are hoping they all do well. Each alpaca will be judged comparatively on traits passed down from their sire, Zinger. March 24, 2024 We are once again taking Zinger offspring to the Great Western Alpaca Show/Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase. This time to Cheyenne, WY May 3-5, 2024. Our first visit to Cheyenne, WY and our 2 youngest male crias (Sawdust's Albizia -aka Moose and Sawdust's Linden) to show. Sawdust's Ceiba, Murwiti and Tabasco are making their 3rd appearance at a show as they were at GWAS last year, then to Gold Country Gathering In October, 2023 and now again to GWAS/RMAS again.

Snowmass Illuminescence is a gorgeous Beige female from a strong line of color mixed with the leading royal white and genetic lines of Snowmass. Her sire is Snowmass Black Out, a renown True Black Matrix Snowmass Stud. Her dam is Snowmass Golden Girl, the first Hemmingway Fawn Grey female born on the Snowmass Ranch, Illuminescence was first bred to Snowmass Divine Love and produced an amazing Medium Fawn female, Snowmass Lovelight, with a first year AFD of 13.4 microns. She was bred next to Snowmass Elite Legend who gave us Sawdust's Zaire. She is now bred to our Emanuel Cuervo Plateado, sire MFI Brock, and linage of Ppperuvian Augusto 6009. Cuervo, after 10 years of age, is still giving us AFD 22 microns. WE are excited to see what is produced with this pairing in September of 2017. 9/03/17 Sawdust's Tupelo was born. A beautiful white male with lots of crimpy fiber. Taking after his sire, Cuervo, with lots of fine fiber. ILLUMINESCENCE was bred to CRESCENT MOON'S BUSTER this last summer, 2018. We are excited to see what this star will produce next year! Cria is named Sawdust's Armani - what a gorgeous guy - lots of white, shiny, crimpy fiber on this guy!!! We received another stunning Boy from Illuminescence 6/12/2020, HIGH COTTON. From our Zinger, a Zagato boy ILLUMINESCENCE gave birth to a stunning boy 6/2/2019. 19.1 lbs. White. Superb genetics with this one. His name is Sawdust's Armandi. Armandi placed 2nd in a halter show at Gold Country Gathering in Oct 2022. 2021 - Illuminescence is bred to Alpaca Palace's Zinger for s 2022 cria. Illuminescence had a gorgeous light fawn male we named Tabasco (a white ebony wood). Illuminescence had an easy birth and is an excellent mom. Tabasco is growing nicely and will be going to the Great Western Alpaca show .

Description

We initially called this male alpaca Zinger 2 before we finally named him Sawdust's Tabasco. A cria born on our farm will have a wood name. Tabasco is a Prima Vera wood (white Mahogany) from Honduras. Tabasco was born on October 5, 2022, weighing 19.7 pounds. He is more beige than the fawn color of his sire, Alpaca Palace's Zinger. Tabasco has excellent conformation and a nice crimpy fiber. We have high hopes of showing him in the spring shows. On April 28-30, 2023, we entered Tabasco in the combined show (Great Western Alpaca/Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase) held in Denver, CO. He secured 6th place in the walking fleece category, which was impressive considering he was one of the youngest alpacas competing, with over 325 other entries! We are hopeful he will do better in the next show in October. In October 2023, we entered Tabasco in the Gold Country Gathering and CA Classic combined shows held in Orland, CA. He performed admirably, placing 6th in Walking Fleece, 2nd place in the Gold Country Gathering Halter Show, and 3rd place in the CA Classic Halter Show. We have entered Tabasco again in the Great Western Alpaca Show and Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showcase, which will be held in Cheyenne, WY, from May 3-5, 2024. We are excited to see how he performs this year! Tabasco possesses excellent genetics, conformation, fiber, and a calm disposition, making him a fantastic package. He is, by far, our favorite alpaca born that year!
