Please call or email for more information. The bottom line on this guy is that he's really beautiful but he just isn't what we need to consistently create the dark colors we are focused on. He's solid in conformation and oooooooooh the fleece. He needs a home where he can work. I am open to any reasonable offer. I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I saw this cria was so light. As he has matured, I'm not all that disappointed. He's got a fantastic phenotype, topped by an amazingly bright, super dense, consistent fleece with beautiful architecture and staple length. Be sure to look at his fiber stats. His 2021 blanket weighed in at 8 pounds. He's got tons of potential as a herdsire. There's plenty of color in his background so the possibilities are definitely there. Get your hands on his fantastic fleece.......add him to YOUR breeding program. He has matured beautifully, but we just can't use him as much as he deserves. His first cria arrived in August 2021 and he's a beauty. Although light in color we are really excited about this youngster. He has some very impressive bundling and a very solid frame. To prove that I'm not just barn blind, Corsair's fleece placed 2nd at the National Fleece Show and also earned the advanced fleece award. I love this male, but we want to focus on dark huacayas so we offer Corsair for sale. Please consider him as he is an outstanding herdsire and deserves to be used more than we can offer him. Black Bluff......Okay so she's fawn......but out of black!!!!! A Black Mesquite daughter so I couldn't go wrong. Right??? The degree of density and organization in this beautiful fleece is simply stunning. My thought is that she is a beautiful production dam to be bred to any of our black champions. We decided to breed her to our 6X Black RC Contender for her first cria in 2016....... He is black!!! *****7/1/2019 Black Bluff has just delivered a beautiful fawn male cria sired by Xanadu Encanto. He was up and nursing in 8 minutes. Crazy!!!! We have named this little tank Cuervo. His fleece is stunning! We had hoped to show Cuervo this spring. With the cancellation of the majority of spring shows, this obviously didn't happen. Watch for info on his own page and hope we can show him in the fall. The plan is to breed Black Bluff to Braxton for a spring 2023 cria.
