AOA# 35222385DOB: 4/4/20177 yrs
4/10/17 Our first of the season and what a guy. ARI # 35222385. Sawdust's Almond Thunder weighed a whopping 23.5 lbs birth weight and is gaining a pound a day. Sawdust Alpacas is very pleased with this boy He is a very well-put-together male with great phenotype and bone structure. His crimp style is passed on from his sire, Sunset Hill's Golden Thunder (ARi #31017435) and his dam, Skyline's Almond Joy, (ARI # 32821666). His consistent color is passed down from Joy's Lennox line.
Thunder is our PR alpaca. He loves to meet people, and sometimes will give kisses. He has a great personality and disposition. He has soft-handled, dense fiber. With a 22-micron count, Thunder's fiber can be used for so many products.
Thunder has his first cria on the ground! Sawdust's Jarrah was born 9/29/20 . This girl definitely has her dad's coloring and size. She was 17.9 lbs at birth.
Thunder's 2nd cria - a brown male with a white face, named Koko, was born 5/29/21.
Thunder's male crias born in 2022 are Sawdust's Babanus, ,born 9/29/22 and Sawdust's Murwiti, born 10/6/22. Jasper was born on10/04/22 to Estate's Brazilian Agate at Summer Hill Farm in CA.

We were very pleased with Thunder offspring scores in these 2 shows as they were the youngest in each of their age/sex/color groups. So lots of room for improvement.
You won't go wrong adding Thunder as a herdsire on your farm!!!
