We are honored and thrilled to co -own Zoltar of Halo with Halo Ranch. Zoltar is the product of two award winning alpacas: GLR Amayah (Judge's Choice 2014 Futurity) and the two-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Cinders. His genetics include GLR Picasso, Rockstar's Paloma, Shavano, MacGyver and Jackpot. At six months old, Zoltar won 4 championships in shows across the country, both halter and fleece. 2018 Suri Netwrok Fleece Show- Cheryl Gehly- "Such fine secondaries in this lustrous fleece". We specifically selected Zoltar to add to our dark program because of his stellar genetics and his fleece characteristics. He is very fine with a high degree of density. Zoltar was biopsied in the spring of 2021 at 41 months of age. His 15x scan shows fiber clusters irregular in size and shape but uniform in placement within his connective tissue. His density measures 55 follicles SQ MM and his S/P ratio from 25 typical fiber cluster averaged 11.1 to 1. Zoltar's scans shows level 3 of 4 gland presence. His 250x scan shows less then 20% of secondary fibers show a degree of medullation which is rather uncommon is a true black. 100 typical secondary fibers averaged 21.5 microns while 50 typical primary fibers averaged 32.3 microns for an average S/P spread of 10.8. His AFD measures 22.46 microns. Zoltar’s offspring are here, and they are amazing!!

Beau's Talia is a stunning fawn female with top black genetics on both her sire and dam side. Her sire is the famous (now deceased) 6X Champion Black Beau of PVA and her dam is 5X Champion and Judges Choice Spar's Vicki's Sweetie Pea. Talia's generational champion genetics run deep with names including Diamonte, Kobe, Cinders, Torbio and Jackpot. Talia has her own impressive show record and has top 5% EPD rankings in her fleece traits. She was biopsied in 2021as a 6 year old female by Dr. Norm Evans. Her density averaged 68.5 follicles SQMM with an average S/P ratio of 12.3 to 1. Her secondary fibers averaged 17.6 microns while her primary fibers averaged 25.3 microns for an S/P spread of only 7.7 microns and an AFD of 18.21 microns. Excellent stats for a 6-year-old female! Talia was SHIP evaluated in 2019 by senior AOA judge Cheryl Gehly. Her SHIP Classification scores were outstanding: Fleece: Fleece Phenotype & Fineness: 5 out of 5 Luster, Lock Structure, Handle, Uniformity of Micron: 4 out of 5 Density: 3.5 out of 5 Uniformity of Color: 3 out of 5 Conformation: 5 out of 5 in all categories (Type, Movement/Tracking, Front Legs, Hind Legs, Head, Frame, Tail, Genitalia) Talia represents a beautiful Suri phenotype in all aspects. She is an excellent mother and has produced champion offspring. Her first offspring, a true black champion Dakini's Icy Hot sired by Midas' Black Ice is now owned by Flying Dutchman Alpacas. Talia gave birth to a stunning jet-black male on July 3, 2022, sired by 4X Champion, Zoltar. This boy is loaded with fleece!
