Abi is a true black from two greys, but is packed with amazing grey genetics - Bisturi and Aussie Guns-N-Roses, plus she has loads of fleece! Normally Abi will cush and let you scratch her neck, she's a very sweet girl and a great first time mom. We decided to see what Abi could produce with a dark fawn boy, Boa's Aslan - she had a gorgeous baby boy who's fleece just keeps on coming! He started out looking like a super rich deep fawn color, but has slowly transitioned to looking more and more modern or rose grey as the weeks went on. Excited to see what color this baby is come shearing time. Abi had a stunning big strong girl out of Baldassare on 10/16! Abi is bred to Elevation by Defiance for a fall 2025 cria!

Description

Aslans Little Lion Man aka "Lionel" has been such a pleasure to watch grow up so far! When he was first born, he looked to be almost a very deep brown - once dried off he looked almost a deep bright reddish brown but with black points, such a gorgeous color. And now that he's two months old, he's starting to appear as more of a modern grey. We checked his fiber around a month old, and he was so close between Medium brown & Dark Rose Grey, but at shearing discovered he is indeed a modern grey! He's really starting to roan out now, and is maturing extremely nicely. His dam is a gorgeous True Black out of two stunning greys (MCR's Patches of Vantaggio and 4-Sight's Crawford) - so we wouldn't be surprised if he continued to turn more grey as the months went on! His sire is Boa's Aslan - a really handsome dark fawn boy. We had no clue what to expect from this pairing, but to we sure are happy with this boy! He was loaded with wrinkles at birth, and boy has his fleece come in! Lionel is really growing up nicely, and I am absolutely smitten with him. His fleece has loads of crimp, beautiful color, and boy is there a lot of it! He had a clear line down each side of him before shearing, with a different color fleece! It's really strange but does look more roan at the skin down on his lower half. He's really starting to mature nicely. He's really shown interest in females lately, and is ready to start meeting your ladies!
