Fernando is another outstanding young male. Born minutes after Clint in June 2018, they have enjoyed playing together for most of their lives. However, the similarities stop there. Fernando is much more of an alpha male. He is a little more standoffish, preferring other alpacas to people. That's not to say anything negative about him as often we do too! He has fine well locked lustrous fleece that just shines when he is out in the sun. Fernando has grown into a big boy. He was bred to a couple females for 2022 cria.

Marshmallow is the ranch clown! She is the favorite of all who come to visit. She is one of the VERY few alpacas who actually enjoy being petted and handled by people. Even strangers! For the most part this trait has past on to her offspring. Wilbur, her 2018 cria is definitely taking after her. Sadly, once she is pregnant, she becomes aloof and her personality changes until after the cria is born, at which time the sweet girl returns. Her fleece is among the finest we have on the ranch with good luster and uniformity, this too she has passed onto all her offspring.

Description

Rustler is Marshmallow's third male cria in a row. Sired by our own Fernando, Rustler is a handsome young male who sports a beautiful light blown fleece. Nice lock and luster and the fineness of both mom and dad. He is a curious young guy but prefers to hang out with mom than the other cria. He does join them in the creep feeder but it took a while before he was comfortable doing so. He is the largest cria of the last season and is shaping up to be one to watch.
