Sammy has top 1% EPDs in 4 categories THREE YEARS IN A ROW!!...AND his density is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING--76.8 follicles/mm!! He is exhibiting elite fleece---corkscrew locks and blinding luster--at 3 years old!! He just keeps getting nicer and nicer over time. Dense, fine, lustrous fleece that is eye-catching and beautiful to touch. Sammy's sire, Belmonte's September Sun Shine, recorded a stunning density on his biopsy!! Check out Doctor Evans' findings: Belmonte's September Sunshine was biopsied at 20 months of age. The density is 90 follicles per SQ MM of skin with an average S/P from 25 clusters of 11.1 to 1. The presence of triad fiber clusters which in my work is associated major genetic density. 100 secondary fibers averaged 16.1 microns and 50 primary fibers averaged 22.1 microns for a variation of 6 microns. These stats are in the top 0.5% of suris that I have evaluated. Sammy's dam, BBFAI Mountain Mist, is the full sister to 2017 AOA National White Champion male, BBFAI Mont Alejandro. Alejandro sired the 2020 Suri Light Female and AOA National Supreme Champion!!! The genetics this male is carrying are extremely promising! We are so excited to get him proven in 2021, as he still has some growing to do, but we can't wait to see what he will produce for us! Connemara (Conne) was another rare find for us at Honey Maple Farms! She comes from a line of fantastic genetics and should contribute nicely to our herd. Conne is a big, inquisitive girl and a great mom! Conne's 2018 daughter, Ultima, is a beautiful girl out of Mont Alejandro. Conne delivered a BIG male cria, with very wrinkled skin, on 6/8/2020 from Ssilken's Accoyo Loar. Loar sports some very nice EPD stats! Gaelic Loar (Gael) of HMFS is exhibiting a ton of very dense fleece already. He was over 50 lbs. at only 2 1/2 months old! Now over 80 lbs. at 5 months! We feel he is going to be an amazing male for us in the future!! *JUNE 21 ,2021 UPDATE* Conne delivered yet another large, DENSE, male cria today from 5X Champion Pine's Edge Way To Go. This is his first male cria to date, Celtic Valor, and his fleece feels and looks amazing!! **July 2022** Conne and Sammy have produced a gorgeous male cria for us! Welcome Jameson!! Sammy has incredible density..76.8 follicles/mm.. and is still producing beautiful fleece at 4 years old. His EPD stats are top notch as well! Conne has proven 4 times now, that she is a fantastic producer for us. Each of her 4 of her offspring to date has incredible density and wonderful conformation...ALL with different sires. We think she is a keeper!! **July 2023** Conne delivered a stunning male cria from her pairing with our multi-champion, Mystic of Bijou! However, due to a difficult presentation during birth, we lost this gorgeous male... such a disappointment for us. **Sept 2024** Conne has been re-bred to Mystic for another try and a late summer 2025 cria. This cria really will be worth the wait! Their last cria together was FANTASTIC!!
