XXXtreme Xclipse has received 4 Judge's choices and 8 color championships including 2013 Futurity. Xclipse spent the summer, a couple years ago, in Oregon at Amanda VandenBosch's farm, Flying Dutchman Alpacas. Amanda loves this male and bought 12 breedings for her own herd. He is one of a kind. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy on Xclipse in April 2013. His true density is 89.5 follicles SQ MM of skin. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 17.1 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged only 22.8 microns. This equates to a mincron variation of only 5.7 microns. His density, gland presence, fineness of both secondary and primary fibers as along with narrow spread place Xclipse in the top 1% of males evaluated by Norm Evans. We have been extremely pleased with the cria/offspring he is producing for us. Keep an eye on Bobbi Sox in the 2022/2023 show seasons. Proudly co-owned with Denise and John Price - Pyramid Alpaca in Clear Brook, VA Now with two great locations, don't miss an opportunity to book a breeding to this fantastic male. Feel free to contact either farm.

Painted Spring's Luca

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Beige, Medium Fawn, Light Rose Grey
AOA# 35541844DOB: 5/29/20213 yrs
Luca is the perfect combination of our dense spotted male and a fine fleeced dam. He was bred for spots, but unfortunately didn't end up with enough on his blanket. But he has them on his face, neck and legs. The genetics are there if you want to try for spots. Even if you don't, his fleece is spot on. To say I was thrilled with his 2023 fleece would be an understatement. Is it gray, is it fawn, is it taupe? I guess it's all of those. I'm really happy with not only the quality of it but the color is just mesmerizing. Luca has been 4H trained and is easy to work with. He has also started breeding and we can't wait to see what he produces! Get your breedings to this very intriguing boy now!

Description

I saw Kalliope at a show the spring of 2022 when we were in a class together for Appaloosas. I really liked this sweet delicate little girl and ended up bringing her home. I will breed her in 2023 to one of my Appy herdsires to see what she can produce. Her patterning is more of a large fawn spot on her back, so she might be capable of producing very interesting patterns.
