Red Granites Jamison, one of our softest & finest gray animals here at Red Granite Ranch, and is set for crias to hit the ground come 2021! His sire, Crescent Moon's Gun Power & Lead comes from generation after generation of very superior grey alpacas, one being his sire, Aussie .38 Special, one of the most well-known grey males across the world. Jamison's dam, Ulio Hembra Juaka, is a two-time grey color champion female who is sired by Mile High Deacon Grey, a Futurity champion grey male. He has proven to produce grey when bred to grey! We will be crossig his offspring with Red Granites Alydar when of age! 9.3 Pounds of fleece sheared in 2021!

Red Granites Daisy

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 35123552DOB: 6/28/20168 yrs
Red Granites Daisy is the replacement female for her champion dam, Greener Pastures Dorthy. Dorthy was bought years ago for our daughters private program, Ironhide Alpacas but as she grew older we needed more space in the barn and Jessie allowed Diasy to become the replacement. Daisy has everthing we look for in a foundation grey female, but what makes her special is her lasting fineness as a BREEDING grey female. Just take a look at those histograms and tell us that they aren't impressive.

Description

Red Granites Dandelion is a result of inbreeding, just like her dam is. Red Granites Jamison (her sire) is an Aussie .38 Speical grandson via his sire. Red Granites Daisy is also an Aussie .38 Special granddaughter via her sire, but she is also carries Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol two times, so she is also a result of inbreeding. We know Dandelion's Coefficient of Inbreeding percentage will be rather high, but thats why she will be bred to and outcrossed male in order to shorten it down. The reason for inbreeding her was because we wanted to maximize her ability to reproduce grey offspring that carry there fineness all throughout there lifetimes. Both her dam and sire are already prepotent producer of this, so Dandelion will only do the same thing. You've got to love it when excellence perpetuates excellence! Dandelion retains the stunning head of her distant relative Mile High Deacon Grey. Combine that beauty with rock solid confirmation and lustrous, dense and extremely fine fleece and you have a package. After your purchase you are going to need a breeding. Who do you like? How about the two-time Futurity Grey Color Champion, six-time National Grey Champion, and nine-time Judges' Choice winner: Red Granites Alydar By Val D Lsere. He is the only way we would swing with a pedigree like this.
