Stunning Champion Male/Champion Crias

Amber Autumn Magavin

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30717817DOB: 3/26/20177 yrs
Oh BOY oh BOY........Check out our newest addition, Amber Autumn Magavin. This fabulous fawn male was acquired at the Amber Autumn Auction 2018. After seeing this boy at the Buckeye show early in February, we just had to have him. Extraordinary brightness, density, staple length, uniformity and beautiful bundling is a mild description of Magavin's fleece. His conformation is impeccable with great substance of bone, great coverage, beautiful head style and a perfect bite. His pedigree is outstanding as well with the likes of Royal Fawn, Legacy, Zephyrus, Andean Gold, Peruvian Ivano and Sweet William (a white macho who sired more solid colored champions than any other male in Canada). With many colors in his pedigree including our favorites, black and grey how could we go wrong? Our first show as Magavin's new owners (AOA National), he won his class of juvie medium fawn males and then the Reserve Color Champion Fawn Male class. We think we have a keeper here. MAPACA Jubilee's Fawn Male Color Champion 2018 is MAGAVIN!!!! When Jude Anderson evaluated him at MAPACA she went all the way down to his belly and all four legs and proudly awarded him the Fawn Male Championship Banner. His first crias have hit the ground. See the photo of our first cria who is BLACK!!! His crias are fantastic, just like Magavin.. Check out our bred females or his beautiful crias to add Magavin's genetics to your herd. We are very excited about the future of this beautiful herdsire. His color genotype is eea2a2 which means he's a totally dilute black. We proudly co-own this fantastic male with our friend Deb Potts-Ragan at Cloverleaf Alpacas.

TB Captain Midnight daughter

5C's Captivation

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 35476375DOB: 6/15/20186 yrs
Captivation is BLACK!!! Really BLACK!!! In spite of being orphaned early on, she is a big solid female with a beautiful fleece. Besides being very black, this fleece is long-stapled and very dense. The hand is amazing. We are hoping she can be as great in production as her both her parents. Captivation's first cria and the first at our farm from Magavin..........a TB female!!!! Just what we had hoped for. This female has everything we expected from this pairing and the TB color is the icing on the cake. 5C's Chasing Dreams (Dreamy) is dense dense dense!!! She's got a beautiful head and nice heavy bone. She looks promising, but only time will tell. Dreamy is so exciting that we have repeated the breeding to Magavin. A definite "DO-OVER" The 2021 cria is a dark brown male named Carson. Captivation's crias are amazing! Recently confirmed bred to ZLM for a 2023 cria. This will be ZLM's first cria. Not really sure we should part with this one, but we can't keep them all. Color Genotype Ee a3a2

Description

Champion genetics galore are behind this beautiful brown Magavin son from our Captivation. This guy is very promising. Magavin is consistently producing offspring with very fine, well structured fleeces. Carson's phenotype is spot on!. Although we don't normally breed for personality, this guy has it in spades!!! We had several brown males in this age group and we can only keep a limited number. Please consider this young male if you're in the market for an up and coming herdsire or a beautiful fiber male. Be sure to view his histogram. Color Genotype Eea2a2
