Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Brown
AOA# 32029277DOB: 6/18/201014 yrs
Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. We, Red Granite Ranch and Amber Autumn Alpacas are very happy to announce that Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire Of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Impressive indeed. His ~150 Registered offspring have won around 134 championship banners and 4 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships as of 2020. Sizzy is the sire to RED GRANITES VAL D LSERE the 2016, 2017, and 2018 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner & LIBERTY'S MANIFEST-DESTINY the 2020 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner. 4/6 Dark Male Supreme Championship trophys have been sired by Sizzy, no other sire has accoplished this!! Breeders hoping to produce high-class winners by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose should consider sending him females from the CONOPA, LEGIONNAIRE, JERICHO, KIRWIN, or .38 SPECIAL line. Sizzy has sired four dark supreme championship trophy's from the Conopa/Jericho lines, including multiple champions from the Kirwin, .38 Special, Jericho, and Conopa lines all put together... Sizzy is currently at Red Granite Ranch, contact us about breedings.

She is absolutely the one and only female in our herd to have what we would call the perfect fleece. A history of almost zero changes. She is one we constantly test simply to see if she radians to have an extraordinary consistency in the amazing fineness of her fleece. Snowmass Cashmina is for us her most prized daughter. She has even us 2 crias for which we will treasure as we offer her for sale." Fiber and Fleece Description Incredible fiber stats, at 17 years old she maintains a 23 micron fleece with an SD of only 4.1 and CV of 17.1, unreal numbers for her age. AOA# 35602668DOB: 6/14/20186 yrs
Color Genotype: ee a2a2. When Fever is bred to EE aa females he will produce Bay Black/True Black! Estates Passionate Fever is a respectable fourteen-time champion and three-time Judges’ Choice winning, light fawn son sired by Snowmass Pure Passion and by Estates El Galan's Yellow Fever. Snowmass Pure Passion represents over 30 years of passionate breeding for the perfect-colored fleece on the most beautiful-bodied alpacas. Snowmass Alpacas said, “Snowmass Pure Passion is the most magnificent Light Fawn Matrix son Snowmass Alpacas has ever produced.” Fever's maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s El Galan, a magnificent four-time champion winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. His maternal great grandsire R&R Oliver Twist has consistently produced outstanding offspring in Canada and the U.S., that exhibit fine, uniform fleeces, along with crimp and correct, solid conformation. Passionate Fever has a fleece that is feverishly dense and uniform. In 2019, Passionate Fever was evaluated as an A+ by senior AOA Judge Amanda VandenBosch. "He has excellent substance of bone, balance to frame, fiber coverage, good organization within staple, maintains consistency across fleece, moves to the extremities to neck, good density relative to fineness." Jill Marcellus said, "He’s a very refined looking male, He’s moderately sized, right in the middle there, & that can be very useful in a breeding program. He’s got good balance & proportion, excellent substance of bone, & a very typey male with a good strong phenotype. I really like his head style as well. His fleece is very fine & exceptionally uniform in all the fleece traits. I pulled samples from all over the place on him & really there is virtually no difference from mid-side to right into the front shoulder area to over to the hip. That also carried through with the staple type and also the expression of character through the fleece. It’s very uniform right across his body and underneath his belly." Passionate Fever had three crias (all females) for his previous owners, two light fawns and a beige all by light fawn dams and a beige dam. Passionate Fever will no doubt be a remarkable stud male for us in both light and dark color breeding, he carries everything we want in an Elite Stud from top to bottom. He will be bred over many different colors this year (2022) to see his potency. Fever's offspring are championship winners to boot! Proudly Co-Owned with Crescent Moon Ranch and Sopris Alpacas Ranch. Times for when he switches between ranches will soon be released. Limited Outside Breedings

Description

Chérie means 'dear; sweetheart' in french and this girl is a true sweetheart to have. Red Granites Sizlin Chérie is the daughter of Snowmass Cashmina, easily one of the most influential light fawn females that comes from Snowmass Alpacas, and by Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, who needs no introduction by now with over 400 registered descendants in the country. Chérie carries a super-uniform fleece with excellent density and many crimpy bundles throughout. Her two-year-old fleece reads: 19.4, 3.8, 19.4, 0.7, 49.3, 18.6. That all being sheared off in a total of 7.1 pounds. Sizlin Chérie will no doubt be a very influentail foundation female when she comes of age. For her maiden breeding we suggest Red Granites Alydar By Val D Lsere or Estates Passionate Fever to lock in even more fineness, uniformity, and density.
