PATAGONIA'S ERNESTO: Patagonia’s Ernesto is a magnificent light brown compact herdsire that improves every dam to her fullest potential. Before I purchased Ernesto, I bred numerous females to this dynamic male just to see what he could do. I discovered that I could take an average dam, breed her to Ernesto, and voila, he would produce a stunning offspring. This feat was proven when we had hundreds of the females assessed with their juvenile crias. Time and time again, the cria scored better than the dam so I knew I had something special going on with this male and one way to obtain improvement in the production of our breeding program. In many ways, Patagonia’s Ernesto has surpassed his one of a kind sire, Patagonia’s Lennox, and what Lennox has been able to achieve in his life-time. Ernesto’s dam, R&RR Irishea, is a light fawn from Ruth and Rodney Elvestad’s Canadian breeding program whose goal was to have lasting fine fleece, yet have the fleece to be the ultimate in density as well. Ruth operates Olds College in Canada working with fiber. Irishea is out of one of my very favorite males, CAVA Guivar Zorro, a true black import. He has many good breeding years left and would love to have the opportunity to prove it! Ernesto’s Show Record shows for itself: JUDGE'S CHOICE, 7x CHAMPION & 5x GET OF SIRE RIBBONS Ernesto's first crias hit the show ring in 2012 and continue to perform! GLORIA'S STAR - SOLD

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 813101DOB: 6/16/199925 yrs
GLORIA'S STAR Gloria was bred to multi-generational silver, NeverSummer's Magic Flight on 12/15/13. Her due date is in November 2014. Magic Flight recently received the Reserve Color Champion Fleece at the 2013 AOBA Nationals in a highly competitive group of greys. His score had tied with the CC and the tie-breaker was only a single point! When folks walked by Magic's juvie fleece in our display at Nationals it literally stopped them in their tracks! It is stunning. SO silver. Absolutely luminous. Long locks. I can't wait to spin it up! .... And check out his fiber stats. They've barely budged between his yearling and two-year old samples. His 2-year fleece statistics are: AFD 20.2, SD 3.6, CV 17.6, %>30u 1.0 Offspring: In 2002, Gloria had a true black male sired by Patagonia's Yukon. In 2003, Gloria had a true black male sired by Sinopsis Nocturna 527. In 2004, Gloria had a bay black male sired by Shepherd's Pasture Jericho. In 2005, Gloria had a true black female sired by Patagonia's Quijote. In 2006, Gloria had a white male, sired by Patagonia's Neruda. In 2007, Gloria gave birth to a beautiful dark brown female sired by Crescent Moon's Cesna. In 2010, Gloria gave us a good looking medium brown male sired by our Snowmass Nova's Galaxy. In 2012, Gloria presented us with a beautiful dark brown female out of our Patagonia's Ernesto.

Description

SALE PENDING Goleta is a confident girl with a great look! Good coverage to her fleece, especially on her face. She would be a great asset to any breeding program or would make a beautiful pet. She is halter trained, proven, registered, and was shorn in May 2022. "Goleta's sire Patagonia's Ernesto is “the pretty boy” fixer upper. He improves on fleece crimp and uniformity; producing dynamite “best head” for his cria, and adding density to the amount of fleece per square inch. Her dam, Gloria's Star is the daughter of two Chilean imports, El Gaucho 565 and Gloria 275. Offspring: On 8/3/2016, Goleta presented us with ESTATES GODDESS OF LUCK, a beautiful bay black female sired by our 3x Champion, Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates who has passed along brightness, fineness, & density to each cria that has hit the ground so far. Goddess of Luck, is Extremely DENSE. She has crimpy fleece, even on her legs, and is fine with bright fiber. On 6/28/18, Goleta gave us a pretty true black female cria also sired by our wonderful Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates."-Alpaca Country Estates
