Full Peruvian, with champions in his bloodlines that make you take a second look -- yes, that is the now deceased multiple champion true black Knight Ryder who showed who took the ring by storm in his day. And Shades of Silver is the champion son of the notable champion Legend's Peruvian Revelation by KPR. This pedigree is definitely 'name dropping' if you are interested in champion black and grey. In his showing he often stood second to Val d'Sere, the legendary many times color champion and judge's choice winner. And during the color champion, though the CCNF male took reserve (after Val d'Sere took CC, of course), we got several 2nd glances by the judge when Axios moved up to the front row for consideration. Axios, for his first breeding year, bred to our Sparrow Lark (who had made a lovely TB female by our multiple champion black herdsire), produced a fantastic deep brown boy last year and a mirrored girl this year. Both are beautiful. His 2019 boy, Shakespeare, is still available as we ramp back up into show mode after the year of Covid-19 restrictions, and his 2020 girl was sold at her dam's side. In 2021, Axios made three beautiful female and one male crias for us! He throws color! Sweet Carolina is a well grown BG out of (LF) Aika; no fault to him as Aika is resisting putting out dark. Divine Glamour is a luxurious BB out of our MF Divine Lady, and Oraine is a glowing MB out of our champion white Danica. He also made a spectacular bay black male out of a our MF dam, Carnaval who unfortunately had an ear infection as a young cria that affected our ability to show him. So, the girls, Glamour and Oraine, had to represent Axios alone - both garnering banners! We are more than proud. He is closed to outside breedings but will be available as a service sire to sold dams from Autumn Sun Alpacas.

FOUNDATION DAM - NOT FOR SALE Wow, this girl is a looker. And born running practically -- running circles literally around her dam as she nursed for the first time. Her white fiber is bright, fine, very long, and crimpy! Her first cria a male, Griffon, by our multiple champion Black Maelstrom has sold. We just cannot keep them all, though he had fantastic fiber! She was then bred to our multiple SOI/JOC male Smokejumper for her next beauty, a vibrant red brown girl who is the spitting image of her sire (now deceased) in color and her luxuriously soft and dense fiber. Boy, does Danica really produce in the color and fiber! We are definitely keeping Firestarter in our program. Firestarter is making her own special crias for us now. Her crias are really just exceptional! For 2021, Danica produced a beautiful medium brown girl sired by our Axios. This girl, whom we named Oraine, is extremely nice, as evidenced by her juvenile show career. We love Oraine, but to really show off Danica, we sold her in the 2023 Amber Autumn Auction. This girl is often thought of and missed though we are excited about her producing well for her new owners. Danica produced another beautiful girl, a MB from our black champion, Stradivarius. Marsella is a looker, too! We cannot wait to see her develop as we currently have her retained in our program. This year, Danica made us a boy-- but BOY, OH BOY, is this boy nice! We love his looks and his fiber and have bestowed him the name Aventador. We have plans for this boy, for sure!

We are pleased in your faith in our program, and we are excited at the prospect of further promoting our alpacas in Europe. ==== From her perfect wedge head to her uniform fleece and spot on conformation, this girl is special. Oraine has spot on conformation with a type-y look -- squared, solid framed, with a pretty wedge head and good coverage. She has a brilliant shine showing off her crimp from skin to tip in a long staple. Her fleece has excellent density and uniformity in fineness and crimp across her blanket and deep into her belly and hindquarters for its margins. You cannot beat this girl's super sweet personality, carried down from "chill" dam/sire. Oraine's dam is a Champion girl, including a Reserve at the AOA National Show. AutumnSun's Danica is the daughter of Snowmass Belvedere out of our Song -- a dam that has given us black cria more than once. We also have a brown daughter of Belvedere in our foundation, which shows that both maternal and paternal lines in Danica's pedigree produces color. Oraine's sire accepted the judge's pick in fleece after also winning best crimp. This is where Oraine gets her brilliance! AutumnSun's Axios is the son of Irish Meadows Peruvian Shades of Silver (son of Legend's Peruvian Revelation by KPR) out of our Renee, daughter of black champion Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Ryder. Name dropping for sure in the greys and blacks. Oraine's pedigree also means she is completely unrelated to just about all of our champion herdsires! It was a hard decision to put her in the auction! But, we figured we could breed Danica back to Axios to try for another beautiful girl, so why not. Our muliple champion blacks, closed from purchased breedings, 26x Estates Stradivarius and 13x AutumnSun's Black Maelstrom, are available to her for her maiden breeding. If you are more interested in grey, we have our 12x AutumnSun's Truthsayer, 8x Dauntless, 5x Artorius and 3x Longbow as suitors for her maiden breeding. Truthsayer is a Jacob black son; Dauntless, a Bomber son; Artorius, a Brutus son; and Longbow, an Enlightenment son. Those of you who breed for grey will recognize those names, so you can see that color runs deep in her potential Service sires.
